the hotel is located 2 minutes away from the Russel Square's tube. we were impressed firstly by the way the staff arranges the bed sheets every morning (we suspect they change it daily, or at least it seems so). they changed the room supplies everyday, so we didn't have to worry about not enough shampoo or anything. the staff also...

Lovely hotel chosen by my husband for my birthday. Great location, walking distance to Convent Garden etc but near the underground if you don't want to walk. We did have breakfast included but the 2 mornings we went down to eat there was long queues. The restaurant was full with at least 5 families/couples waiting. After a few attempts we...

I feel this hotel is a definite 3star hotel but it's shortcomings are highlighted even more after I had stayed at a 4* the week previously. The evening carvery was ok although the beef was tough, starters and desserts were quite good. No water glasses, no dessert forks no bread knives. The breakfast no whole meal toast, the tea and...

The President Hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at and any time I need to travel to London I always request that my travel agent check availability at this hotel. Attentive and friendly staff, wonderful hotel restaurant and within walking distance from Leicester Square and Kings Cross Station. Would definately recommend anyone stay here :)

The President Hotel is "just around the corner" from Russell Square underground. The hotel itself feels quite dated, but we found the bar area very modern and comfortable. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the front of the hotel. The rooms were very hot, almost uncomfortable and the first thing we did was to open the window....

I've been staying at the President Hotel for several years now, and have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well-stocked, and the meals are always good. Their full English breakfast is a real treat and is included in the price of the room. If one stays for at least two nights...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
