The hotel is in a great location, the staff are nice, and the room was nice. So why the low stars? In general it is good and I would have given MyBloomsbury 4 stars up until the last minute at check out. They do not publish the rates for using the telephone and I was charged £9 for 2 minute...

The hotel is new and everything is clean and clean. However the rooms are very small and we found it frustrating that there was no tooth brush and shaver in the bathroom. Overal we found it to be ok, nothing more.

Room was average and lacked basic space for the traveller; instead they choose to take up space with over-priced mini bar products which dominate the room. Bathroom had nowhere of any use to put things. Service from the front desk was impersonal and the staff could hardly speak or understand english. Breakfast was an optional +£15 pp so we didn't...

On the plus side: -Great location - Good communications -Clean -Service-minded staff -Urban style On the negative side - No proper restaurant (doesn't matter that much, there are plenty in the area) - They need to accept all travel cards, Diners Card included. - It did feel a little pricey, but if the location is important then I guess it...

Very well situated hostel, great people making all in their possible to give you acces to what you need! The room was cool and silencious but the windows were a little too high and the curtains let a little too much the light enter (if I had to find something wrong) Cool hotel

When you pay more than 200-Pounds for a night to stay in this nicely located good place, you also expect to have a reasonable choice of breakfast - but no, this hotel has an agreement with the next door Gail for it and they give you a very miser boring offer, unless you are wiling to buy extras and more...

I stayed here for three nights in one of the MyPlace suites -- I had #2, which is the smaller of the two suites. The two suites are on the 5th floor and are accessible via a private entrance on the 4th floor and stairs that lead to the suites. The room itself was nice....big, nicely decorated and clean with...

Great location for the West End district and short walk to the Trafalgar and square. Small room but ample for 2 people. Very friendly front desk staff who were more than willing to assist. Bakery and restaurant on site and convenience store 150m away!

Reception staff friendly and helpful at all times. Stayed in front 1st floor room (111) which was good size, great bathroom and well equipped with excellent hot water and heating. Bed, pillows & quilt were just amazingly soft & cosy and we both slept unusually well. Secondary glazing unit so hardly any street noise contrary to others reports & we...

Only stayed for one night but will return for longer. Everything about this hotel is Top Class, friendly reception staff always smiling, happy and extremely helpful. Our room was more like an apartment on the top floor, there was everything you needed plus so many extras. All in All the best place we have ever stayed in London. Thank you.

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
