After almost 10 years of at least yearly visits to this hotel, I am happy to report that it stills never disappoints us. This hotel is luxurious, friendly, attentive and spotlessly clean. Our vacation begins when we are greeted by Monica and the front desk team. They remember our preferences and go out of their way to provide for everything....

It was Mothering Sunday and no reservation but the welcoming restaurant manager, who is always a joy to meet, effortlessly fitted us in for a perfect Sunday lunch of roast lamb and chicken. The mint and bread sauces were to die for and were perfect accompaniments to the well cooked meats, as were the gorgeous roast potatoes. Always our favourite...

We stayed at the hotel in a deluxe junior suite with our 7 year old for almost a week while on vacation and had a lovely experience. The hotel is located on a quiet, cobblestone street lined with shops and restaurants in Seven Dials that is both convenient and quaint. You really can walk almost anywhere you would want to...

Having stayed here more times than I can remember I am definitely qualified to review! Location is just brilliant in cobbled Monmouth Street in Covent Garden. Staff are just fantastic. Helpful, professional and friendly at all times without being stuffy and sycophantic. Breakfast choice is to die for. The bar is divine. The rooms are literally on another level. Designed...

Stopped for a drink waiting for Mon Plaisir restaurant opposite to open thought it was a pub with tables on the street. Walked though diners to get to bar restaurant looked very nice and and was busy at 17.30 on a Saturday evening. Paid £9.50 for a glass of Pinot and £3.75 for a coke a bit expensive even for...

We love this place - and as a Londoner, its not too often you can say that about somewhere so central, in touristy Covent Garden. The location is amazing, the facilities are also lovely- classic, but also impeccably clean and well looked after. But what always sells this place for me- the people! You meet so many great characters from...

I've visited the CG hotel bar a few times and it never ceases to amaze me how welcoming the place is. Flávio in particular always remembers his customers (and their names) and what they like to drink. All the staff were fabulous and a great night was had by my visitors. It really is the best bar in London as...

Fantastic location in the heart of London. Great if coming from the theatres/ shopping/ site-seeing. I came here for a afternoon tea with my mum. It is well priced starting from £27. Lux setting, lovely service. A calm oasis in London. Delicious tea would definitely recommend

Many great things to say about this one. First, the location is fantastic if you need to put on your walking shoes for either work or pleasure. Remarkable restaurants within five minutes - from The Ivy to Jamie Oliver's place. Hotel itself is exceptional. Had a great dinner - as well as a few cocktails - in the hotel. Best...

We went in December just before Christmas and it was fantastic. Very helpful and professional staff and the room was extremely nice. The only down side was the we had a lower ground floor room and no view. From previous visit, the room with a balcony was superb. Great hotel and would go again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Covent Garden Hotel opened in April 1996 but the building dates back to the 1890’s when it operated as a French hospital. It is located in Monmouth Street, a charming cobbled street in the heart of the theatre district and surrounded by interesting boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars. Covent Garden Hotel is "a quirky modern take on traditional English style." The hotel's interior has been dramatically designed by owner and design director Kit Kemp, and reflects her personal attention to detail. The ground floor is just like a stage set. A quietly bustling lobby leads into Brasserie Max, the hotel’s bar and restaurant. Up a sweeping stone staircase and into a sumptuous wood paneled drawing room and library, each with a log burning fireplace, quirky furniture and vivid upholstery. Downstairs there is a gym, private event space and a screening room. ... more   less
