I mostly write for a living, but I think I do not have words to express how much I love this hotel. Our experience began several days before we checked in, when we spoke with Diana at the reception desk about re-arranging the room our kids were sharing. The concierge soon got in the act and helped us dramatically simplify...

We stayed at this hotel over Easter 2017. We found all of the staff to be very warm and friendly. There were lots of personal little touches which really were special. For example a welcome note to our grandaughter's teddies which delighted her. When we arrived we had just realised we had left our theatre tickets at home - the...

We stayed here as a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage children in a Deluxe Junior Suite. The room was a great size, and looked just as shown, with great attention to detail and perfectly maintained. The inclusion of various radios, bath TV and a Bose bluetooth speaker were a nice touch. The a-la-carte breakfast was varied, perfectly prepared...

This is a lovely modern hotel, very well located for the West End. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable, and it was surprisngly quiet in the rooms at night even though the surroundings are buzzing, The staff are helpful and friendly. The bar is also very good.

Having stayed at another of the superb hotels in the Firmdale boutique chain earlier this year (The Soho), we decided to try another one in the group as a escape from our home while it's being renovated. After six weeks of basically living in a chaotic building site, my husband and I were desperately in need of some peace and...

After almost 10 years of at least yearly visits to this hotel, I am happy to report that it stills never disappoints us. This hotel is luxurious, friendly, attentive and spotlessly clean. Our vacation begins when we are greeted by Monica and the front desk team. They remember our preferences and go out of their way to provide for everything....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Covent Garden Hotel opened in April 1996 but the building dates back to the 1890’s when it operated as a French hospital. It is located in Monmouth Street, a charming cobbled street in the heart of the theatre district and surrounded by interesting boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars. Covent Garden Hotel is "a quirky modern take on traditional English style." The hotel's interior has been dramatically designed by owner and design director Kit Kemp, and reflects her personal attention to detail. The ground floor is just like a stage set. A quietly bustling lobby leads into Brasserie Max, the hotel’s bar and restaurant. Up a sweeping stone staircase and into a sumptuous wood paneled drawing room and library, each with a log burning fireplace, quirky furniture and vivid upholstery. Downstairs there is a gym, private event space and a screening room. ... more   less
