Having stayed in numerous hotel's I decided to treat my partner to a romantic night in London watching the fireworks and choose the hotel for its location and style. The trip started out really well when I was told that I had been upgraded to a queen size room from the superior double originally booked such a shame that when...

Stayed here for one night for a Christmas party close by and found the hotel to be excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful – couldn’t fault them. We had a superior double and the room was very comfortable and quiet with a large marble bathroom. We ate lunch at the Steak and Lobster adjoining the hotel for my partner’s...

Stayed for 5 nights including New Year's Eve. Upon checking in, we were fortunate to meet Arnold at reception who was professional, enthusiastic, extremely helpful and kind in ensuring that we were happy with our room. The doubles are rather small in size (but already a pretty good size for London) in the end we paid extra to upgrade to...

Clean room and bathroom, basic breakfast, small and dark room facing the backyard, 2 single beds instead of one kingsize bed I asked for 1 person, free WiFi only in reception hall. .. and of course perfect location, nice, supportive and professional receptionists (especially Spanish lady with natural smile). The hotel is not about sleeping only. It is about "hoteling"...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
