We attended a function here last night, which was excellent, and stayed overnight. It is obviously a really fancy hotel and not exactly at the budget end of the market, so I was prepared for it to be highly pretentious and stuck up. I was really pleasantly surprised to find quite the opposite! The staff were without exception really helpful...

We enjoyed afternoon tea at the 5 star Lanesborough Hotel and can honestly say that it was just perfect. Beautifully presented food that tasted fabulous and was served by attentive and knowledgable staff. We were seated as we arrived and our Spanish waitress introduced herself. Not one of the staff were actually English but that's a sign of the times...

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Lanesborough Hotel this weekend. On a return from an outing our taxi driver asked if we were aware we were at one of the very most exclusive hotels in London. We were and it certainly is a lovely property. Actually our initial taxi driver that drove us in...

A very refined hotel but slightly dated and with surprisingly small rooms. Excellent and efficient staff and a beautiful breakfast. Very welcoming but slightly restricted by the architecture leading to a slightly claustrophobic air. All in all though an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Firstly, London has remained a beautiful village of a city. Within this village is a hotel called The Lanesborough. This hotel has been newly renovated from top to bottom....

Not only is the Celeste Restaurant at the Lanesborough a wonderful place for lunch or afternoon tea, it also serves excellent breakfasts to both residents and external visitors. They have a strict dress code of "smart casual" and advance booking would be wise, at busy times. The service is impeccable - discreet, attentive and professional throughout. The staff are exceptionally...
