Visited for a conference and awards ball. Over both days the staff were excellent. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was presented perfectly. The hotel deco is very impressive. The only downside is the hotel itself is a bit of a maze and lacks signposting to help you find where you are going. Would love to visit to stay...

If you like big...expensive and impersonal this is the hotel......the rooms are very (we had 402) good sized, swags and marble bathrooms etc ...the bar areas are dark and very busy the conservatory area I found a little uninviting although trimmed for Christmas probably why there were business meetings s going on.......hence for me it's not a romantic hotel ....it...

Met a friend there after work for a drink and we would have stayed for dinner but the restaurant we chose was fully booked. The Savoy looks like a magical palace this Xmas, in good taste and absolutely stunning. Even better is the service. The staff are so well trained and have real dignity and pride in their work. It...

We stayed for one night. Room 525. Nice, basic room. Good furnishings, nice bathroom. The usual you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Service throughout the hotel was high. Afternoon tea we were looked after by Ramtin. A credit to the hotel. Friendly, efficient very warm. The Americans Bar was buzzing. Breakfast was plentiful and again great service....

I first stayed at The Savoy in November 2015, and returned for three nights this week. As expected, nothing has changed, and our stay was perfect. The room was perfect, the service was perfect, the ambience and atmosphere was perfect, and I hope it never changes. You're welcomed, warmly, wherever you go, and the whole establishment oozes class. My only...

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
