Claridge’s has always been one of the top hotels in London but let’s face it, over the years, it had begun to get tired. Not anymore! The hotel has been renovated top to bottom and is also expanding. Claridge’s advantages have always been extensive. It’s location in the center of Mayfair can’t be beaten and it has always oozed charm and class. The staff has always provided top notch service and it’s bar is one of the best in the world. This is why it has been a classic for almost a century. These strengths remain. The hotel, however, had been in need of renovation because the rooms, while classic and charming, has become dated. In addition, the hotel lacked a spa facility. The recent renovation fixes all of this. The rooms now are the best of any city hotel that we have been too. They are now truly beautiful in every respect. The designers have been able to achieve the impossible and have balanced modernity and tradition with perfection. The room facilities are first class with stunning modern bathrooms, amazing showers and air conditioning that can finally hold its own with global warming! The design however retains the hotels Art Deco traditions with beautiful parquet wood floors and attention to detail throughout. Claridge’s has regained its position as the finest hotel in London and indeed has to be a contender on any list of finest city hotels in the world!…

We recently returned to Claridge’s for the first time since their multi-year renovation and all I can say is wow! The hotel is somehow glorious spruced up, but without seeming new. For the past 15 years, I’ve also regularly stayed at the Dorchester whilst in London, which I also love. This recent stay really showed how Claridge’s has raised the bar in many ways - particularly with such tastefully renovated rooms. We had one or two small issues (no space for afternoon tea given the holiday crush of reservations), and one large one (a malfunctioning AC system) - but the staff really stood out with how they handled these situations. The skill and assistance employed by the Claridge’s staff made the hiccups disappear… and that’s what we’re all hoping for in a great hotel. Thank you!

Another great stay at Claridge’s. Consistently professional and approachable staff. Very central location within walking distance of Bond Street, Oxford Street and many restaurants. Rooms and bathrooms are big with elegant decoration. Best English breakfast.

We had a wonderful weekend at Claridges. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we had the festive afternoon tea in the foyer which was delicious The choir was a added special touch to the occasion. We stayed in a Brook Suite which was stunning and has every amenity anyone could possibly need. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us. I’m a regular guest at Claridges and in my eyes it’s the only place to stay in London, the experience is second to none. Thank you to Paul Jackson and his incredible team for making Claridges such a special place.

Beyond words. Claridge’s transports you to another world. It is the height of luxury and we felt truly spoilt to be able to spend our wedding night there. The staff and service is world-beating and everything was just perfect. Special thanks to Melanie Perdomo who went above and beyond for us - you made our stay truly special.
