Claridge's hotel stands out as a beacon of luxury in Mayfair, with guests frequently lauding its sumptuous amenities, including the indulgent afternoon tea and impeccable cleanliness throughout its stately rooms and public spaces. Although the price tag is steep, many visitors feel the exceptional service and unique charm offer ample value.
The warm and attentive staff, coupled with the hotel's elegant atmosphere complete with live music, add to the allure. Its location is praised for proximity to shopping and central attractions, though some suggest it's a tad distant from London's theater scene.

Yet again I found myself at this beautiful hotel for 2 nights. Saturday 4th - Monday 6th! The service as always impeccable. Their professionalism shines through every member of staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble. It’s just wonderful!
Our room was beautifully decorated & the bathroom spacious. Great toiletries too.
We had Afternoon Tea on our first afternoon. The tea choice is perfect although I do miss my Russian Caravan. The sandwiches were all slightly different to your usual choice at other hotels and the mushroom & rocket that I was given instead of egg mayonnaise was heaven!!! We were offered more sandwiches. Pastries & Scones followed but we couldn’t manage them so took them to our room.
Breakfast both mornings in our room. English breakfast & a fruit breakfast both were brought up perfectly and the English breakfast was nicely cooked and still hot.
It’s still mr favourite hotel in London
Thank you Beatriz Duty Manager & also John and my favourite barman in Claridge’s Bar
I’ll be back soon.

Having wanting to try 11 Madison park for many years, when we found out they were coming to Claridges we had to book..
Upon arrival we took drinks in the hotel bar which is dimly lit with a nice atmosphere, snacks were given with drinks, nuts and cheese straws which where nice.
The restaurant is opposite the bar but hard to notice as only the name is above am archway.
We were seen to our seats very well with tables moved and seats pulled
The food arrived after some champagne with a suorise mushroom course which was excellent
I won't go through the whole menu but each course is plated beautifully and very clean, there are some lovely flavours combinations throughout the meal.
What I would say however is rather surprisingly there where no wow flavours, having been to Gordon ramsay, the menu and flavours still live in my memory, however I'm afraid this will not be the case here...however my son did say his dessert was the best he's ever had.!
The one really outstanding feature however was the staff, it was my sons birthday and every single staff member knew his name and it was his birthday and wished him well so they were clearly very well briefed.
We met the bar manager who took us to the kitchen and had a lovely chat with him which was very nice and very informative, lovely chap.
We had a very nice time and wish them every success and thank you all for your attention and kindness

We booked our one night stay with their Timeless Escape package to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. The communication prior our stay we excellent. The check in process was like a breeze and we were shown a tour of the hotel area before we were shown our room by our receptionist. It was friendly and not intrusive, and we felt very welcomed.
The decoration in the hotel public is elegant and we loved the art-deco styling. Our room was on the 5th floor and lightly decorated, with floor to ceiling window allowing plenty of light in during the day. Room size was generous, filled with modern necessity such as plenty of USB charging ports. The bed was heavenly and it was tempting to relax and snooze after enjoying our welcoming cocktail as part of the package.
For the evening we dined in Davies and Brooks, where we had the tasting menu with wine paring. was well thought out, The whole meal was fantastic. The coffee post dinner is one of the best I have had, even it did not come with any petit four (to my surprise, not we were stuffed anyway).
During dinner the turndown service has prepared the room for the night and we had enjoyed a good night sleep on the heavenly bed with luxurious bedding. Room was quiet, thanks to the second door between the main door to the corridor and to the bedroom. The next day we had our breakfast in the Foyer and Reading Room, which was excellent throughout. The table could have been larger to fit all the items, however.
For a special occasion we feel it is worth its price and we believe Claridge's has delivered. I would love to come back for another special staycation.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Afternoon Tea last week. Silver Service with a relaxed atmosphere.
Sandwiches were so delicious and if you wanted more there was no problem
Cakes were delicious and again you could have more if wanted.
LP Rose was also delicious and fresh tea
Staff were very attentive and there was a super atmosphere.
It’s a beautiful hotel and from the minute you stepped in someone was on hand to help with our shopping.
Even the lady in toilets ( which were gorgeous ) was super nice!!

Stayed at Claridge’s for one night on the occasion of our wedding anniversary.
The hotel has just undergone an extensive refurbishment / renovation phase (believe some is still ongoing) and it shows. All of the common areas are immaculate! Marble floors are gleaming, plush carpeting throughout and framed pictures of famous guests tastefully dotted throughout the hotel. Taking the manned elevator up to the room was a lovely nostalgic touch!
We had advised the hotel of our early arrival but never expected the room to actually be ready on arrival! We were delighted to be able to check in at around 10:30 and hang up our Afternoon Tea clothes!
Our room (£700 per night) was very spacious and beautifully appointed. The Art Decor theme - which is heavily prevalent in the common areas - was understated in the room, which I prefer. Beige and cream colours dominated the chic colour scheme with heavy curtains framing the windows. The large bed was comfortable with luxurious linen.
On closer inspection, some niggles though:
Our room had no coffee making facilities, which are pretty standard in all hotels now. A sleek NESPRESSO machine would not have gone amiss.
Also, some fruit would have been appreciated.
Our window was frosted which made the room feel claustrophobic, despite its size. You could open it up, but the view was literally just scaffolding erected in a very narrow and dingy courtyard. Not what you’d expect at £700 per night!
Also, the lack of signposting throughout the hotel was slightly bizarre. This made finding restrooms and your own room a bit of a challenge!
Breakfast at 08:00am was a little late for anyone who has an early flight to catch etc and having it in the room as a workaround not always practical.
The staff throughout were a delight! Nothing was too much trouble and you could tell that everyone was pleased to welcome guests back to the hotel.

Dear Akki, Thank you for your thoughtful and constructive review following your recent stay; I was delighted to learn how much you appreciated the warm, courteous and professional service extended by each and every colleague, as well as the interior design and décor throughout the hotel. We have noted your preference for tea and coffee making facilities, as well as fruit to be placed in your room and will make careful note of these preferences for future stays. I am most sorry for the manifestation placed on your windows, these are a temporary measure whilst we complete the refurbishment of the inner courtyard, which, when completed will have views onto a unique sculpture by the renowned artist Jean-Michel Othoniel. We have of course, also noted that you would prefer an outer facing room on future stays. I do hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Claridge’s in the not too distant future. Best regards, Paul Jackson General Manager

We spent 4 nights at Claridges in a Studio. The room was of generous size, with dressing area and an extremely comfortable bed. We ordered room service breakfast one morning and just coffee the other days, in all 4 cases the food/coffee arrived within 2-3 minutes of the requested time. We also tried all 3 bars, where the bartenders shined from both a mixology and service perspective, would give particular kudos to the staff in the new Painters Bar. We also enjoyed afternoon tea which was expectational in all respects. One very small complaint, neither of which distract from the overall experience. In the shower, Claridges provides soaps/shampoo/conditioner in individual "tubes", which in the case of the shower gel, might last 2-3 showers. So there are 2 tubes of each (with 2 different varieties of shower gel) so there are 8 "tubes" in the shower which frankly take up most of the shelf space in the shower. The shelf was designed back in the day when they probably provided a bar of soap along with shampoo and conditioner and really doesn't work for 8 tubes, more than a few times some of the tubes tumbled down to the floor. Again, not a big deal, but a small thing to consider, and I would gladly stay at Claridges again.

Claridge's has always been our favourite hotel ever but having not been back for 10 years we wasn't sure what to expect, never did we imagine it could be ever better than the last stay but it certainly was.
We stayed for two nights and we had the most fabulous weekend, from the doormen welcoming you, the ever so efficient front of house, the lift attendant just everything at the hotel is utterly exquisite. You will never find service like it in any other hotel. We really got to enjoy the room this time which was lovely, ordering breakfast and room service is like going to a restaurant the menu and quality is phenomenal. Housekeeping do such a grand job with not one thing forgotten or out of place so beautiful to come home to a room that has been made up so perfectly.
Claridges bar is our absolutely favourite with once again the best service you will ever find, beautiful elegant glasses and staff addressing you in the correct way. We loved the new terrace.
Checking out was a breeze and the doorman very kindly seeing us to the car and wishing us a very safe journey home. Just again a beautiful was to see us off.
Already booked for Christmas and so am looking forward to see the new pool
Thank you Claridge's for the most divine weekend.

We visited for afternoon tea to celebrate our anniversary. The experience was perfect in every way. The food and drinks were perfectly paced - enough time to sit and enjoy each mouthful, without feeling like we had to wait for anything. Our teapots and water glasses were subtly refilled before we even realised they were running low. Wonderful, friendly waiters who ensured we were offered multiple rounds of sandwiches and scones. Delicious food, delicious champagne and a lovely touch to give us a mini celebratory treat for our special day. Cannot thank the waiters enough for making our visit so memorable and relaxing!

We had pre-drinks in the bar and afternoon tea at The Foyer in Claridges. First impressions discount and our black cab door was opened on arrival, we were greeted by smart doormen who were happy to take our picture. The concierge greeted us too and desk staff were so helpful and kind. Drinks in the bar are of course expensive (£20 cocktails) but they were beautiful and again the staff were so pleasant and friendly. The foyer afternoon tea room is gorgeous, Art Deco I believe and the ambiance was heightened with the cellist and pianist. Our waitress was on her first day back from furlong (we asked how she was as she had asked us) we were waited on as though she had never been away!! So attentive but not intrusive. The food was just amazing. We were not rushed at all, we were given a box to take home the cakes we couldn’t manage!! I would definitely recommend afternoon tea here for a special celebration.

Really impressed with the hotel and the entire end to end experience. Staff were all friendly and helpful, food was excellent and the Fumoir bar was fantastic. Particular mention must go to Maxi in the Fumoir bar who was extremely personable and went our of his way to make us feel welcome. The room was also to a very high standard with the small details really adding to the experience, cake for my wife's birthday and note wishing her a great stay. We will definitely be back.

Yes I’m sure they can assist
Much better and less "chain" focused as I have stayed at the others also
No - the elevators do not need a key.
Wide open and welcoming
Claridge's do not rush guests, it's not the done thing, and it would look appalling for them to do so relax and enjoy your time there well worth the money, from the hospitality and quality of it alone we had afternoon tea and oysters the staff are engaging and extremely professional claridge's would not do things any other way
