Exceptionally well situated hotel overlooking tower bridge and Shard. Breakfast and evening meal was above average. Food was reasonably priced for Central London and was surprised not to get robbed when buying drinks..... A real bonus. Had a large family room which was well appointed with very comfortable bed.

Dear Guest, We appreciate the positive comments. Yes, though centrally located, we are comparably less expensive and more comfortable as what every Indigo Hotel is.

We last visited in May to attend a wedding and this time it was for a birthday weekend. We were not disappointed. We had 2 rooms booked one for my mum and one for us with a cot for our 2 yr old daughter. We were upgraded on arrival due to being a rewards member and had two rooms facing...

Two years since the previous visit, I stayed here with my wife for weekend. Actually quite a small (boutique) hotel. The roome that we had was beautifully decorated with london theme. Four poster bed was a novely. Everything about the hotel exuded quality. bed lovely and comfortable. Good bathroom. Location when I stayed previously thought that it was a bit...

Dear Guest, Let me quote George Bernanos who said: Little things seem nothing, but they give peace, like those meadow flowers which individually seem odorless but all together perfume the air. The hotel though small and everything else about it helped make your stay as perfect as you wanted. Thanks for your comments.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and haven't stopped recommending it to friends. On arrival we were greeted by lovely reception staff who were so helpful. The rooms seem newly refurbished and are really large, with a huge and very comfortable bed, armchairs, desk area, tv, complimentary mini bar and a really good bathroom with excellent shower. Everything was very...

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in November 2013, it was my second stay in 12 months. Once again the check-in staff were excellent and the room was quite large by London standards, was clean, warm and comfortable and was well lit (I hate dim lighting in rooms). The bathroom was also spotless with plenty of towels and...

Dear Guest, Thanks for finding most of what we offer to your standards. Had we heard about the steak and the TV’s position, we would have been able to attend to it immediately. But thanks for letting us know anyway.

The room was to warm and the air condition did not work. Also I am not happy about them taken fifty pounds straight from my account and not refunding it immediately on my departure. The staff were excellent

We enjoyed our stay here...wish it was for more than one night. Hotel was very clean and our room was good sized. Check in was easy, and the staff were very nice. I returned to The Indigo a couple of years after my first visit and found the standards hadn't dropped. The staff on the front desk were very friendly and warm, apart from the guy at night, who wasn't very engaging. Not rude or dismissive, but not as open as the daytime staff. The room was spacious, tasteful and very clean....

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
