Visited here last weekend, room was gorgeous and was glad to find an iPhone speaker dock and complementary minibar as well as a very comfy bed. The room was fantastic but location wasn't so great- the tube was only a five minute walk away but a lot of the shops and restaurants surrounding were closed on weekends including chains like...

Made this a perfect stay in a very wet London just before xmas. The room was huge, with one of the comfiest hotel beds Ive ever stayed in (which is why I always try to stay at an Indigo). Also I have to say that I have never seen more friendly and helpful hotel staff. The bar and restaurant we...

We stayed here for a weekend and were absolutely delighted by the staff -- they were so friendly and helpful. We felt so welcomed! The room was great as well. The only downside was that it was very noisy at night (from people shouting on the streets and from music pumping somewhere nearby), so a bit more sound-proofing would have...

Stayed in a few hotels in london before but this was by far the best one. Upon arrival at the hotel the staff were really polite and kind enough to store our bags for us until we could check in. Once we did we were upgraded to executive which was a lovely suprise! The room was spacious, great decor, clean...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in January and I must say it did not disappoint. We checked in at 1 o clock and the room was already made for us. On the checkout the receptionists were full of smiles and very helpful. When entering the room we were impressed with the size and style of the room. The bathroom...

Slightly nondescript building - in fact I went past it once without realising. Inside however, typical Hotel Indigo interiors, with bright colours and imaginative use of furnishings. Immaculately maintained throughout, and room was large, bright and well-equipped. Friendly staff. It felt a little out of the way, and on a Saturday night just before Christmas both the area and hotel...

Dear Guest, Nice of you to note and to put into not so many words what Indigo really is. Not too striking from the outside but great within! And thank you too for observing that we have the alternatives for the little inconveniences that there might be and that’s why our clients return. We look forward to your return as...

Most Friendly welcome and staff, amazing rooms with unique designs and modern and clean. Close to tower bridge and the beautiful views of the area. Chose this hotel because of the reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Friendly, welcoming staff on reception who surprised us with a free upgrade to the Tower Suite. The room was immaculate with excellent facilities, free wifi for our devices, 2 tv's, free non alcoholic mini bar, Nespresso machine. This is our favourite hotel we have stayed...

The best word to describe this hotel experience is: GREAT. The hotel staff is beyond friendly and very helpful and interested. Hotel Indigo is owned by the same group as Thai Square (previous review) and whilst I can see a similar hand in the decorations etc., the service, value and customer care is so much better and makes you realise just how poor our meal was at the former. We booked for one night but extended it to two a day...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
