We arrived at this hotel on the 10th of March 2014 for an overnight stay before flying to Sydney Australia. The reception we got by Celia and staff was second to none, we were amazed by our room. It was excellent. All thought out our stay the staff could not do enough for us. Celia was great , she is...

We have only ever been to one Indigo before but this stood up to what we have come to expect of this chain. Tucked away in Tower Hill with tube 2 minutes away and Tower Bridge plus Tower of London 5 minutes walk away. It could not be better with smiling polite receptionist who make you feel so welcome and...

Dear Guest, Thank you for giving us an almost perfect rating and for pointing out a few of our best features: service, room, amenities and proximity to places you want to reach. It was our pleasure to make yuour weekend worth its while.

The pictures in the advertisment is not what you get when you arrive and the receptionist tries to persuade you to upgrade to the suite which you thought you were getting but didn't. False advertisement should be illegal..Room was so small you didn't have space to place your toiletries in the bathroom and it was a double not a queen...

Dear Guest, We're as equally disappointed that we haven't lived up to your standards. And your question is just as good as ours: if we were that bad, how did we get such rave reviews that we really appreciate and are so grateful for. We at Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill always aim to give our guest the highest standards...

I've never had a bad experience at an Indigo, and my second stay here was no exception. Very warm welcome on reception, and was able to check in at 11.00. Upgraded to a corner suite with lots of space and typically interesting decor. Hotel is conveniently situated close to Underground and DLR, with numerous bus routes in the vicinity -...

This is a small hotel, so we got a personal service. It was my husbands birthday so they managed to upgrade us and leave a token surprise in the room which was a really nice touch. The room was very stylish and plenty large enough, quiet at night, and the restaurant area was also very nicely decorated with a small...

I stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend and loved the hotel. It is not the most beautiful of buildings as you approach but the welcome from the staff was friendly. The foyer is quite funky and modern - and it had a bar/restaurant off the reception area. I didn't try either but the food and drinks menu looked...

Dear Guest, Wonderful review. You cited our good points but didn't forget to mention the bad ones as well, emphasizing that these were London characteristics and not hotel-related. Thanks. And thanks too for making us your favourite London hotel.

Stayed for Easter weekend. This hotel had a great room, bathroom and facilities. The staff are second to none in terms of their level of service and willingness to help. Will always go back now. Had a fantastic stay at Indigo. The hotel is lovely and well maintained with funky design features, but its the staff that make it very special. Very nice place to stay, in a great location. It's just a short walk from Brick Lane and Whitechapel attractions, and Petticoat Lane/ Spitalfields markets. Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
