Every time my partner and I come to London we stay at the Hotel Indigo. Our first experience with this place a few years ago was so wonderful that we've decided this will be our go-to place whenever we visit this city. The location is fabulous in that it's close to a couple of tube stations, you're right across from... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for pointing out the conveniences Indigo offers and for adding that the few inconveniences are “to no fault of the hotel”. If it’s a quiet week-end you’re looking for, then Indigo is the right place to go. Though centrally located where noise is expected, peace and quiet begins as soon as you step inside Indigo. More

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay at Hotel Indigo Tower Hill and it was perfect. This is our second time staying here simply because its a great hotel to explore the city from! Although it is slightly pricey it is worth it you get large rooms, very comfy beds, a waterfall shower and staff that would bend... More

I loved this hotel -- huge, modern room, free items in the mini bar, good location for Tower of London and London Bridge -- but there's a lot of party noise! We stayed here in late January on a Friday and Saturday night and I was awakened both nights about 2 a.m. by the partiers leaving the nearby bars. That... More

Dear Guest, If we could have it our way, we’d have given you the peaceful, quiet nights you were looking for. Our clients often mention how quiet the place it. Unfortunately, maybe it was “party time” during your stay. But we appreciate your observations about the staff, the bed and how great the shower was. Thank you!.. More

Would like to keep this place to myself- only so that they have a room for me when I return! Very clean, we'll appointed room. Food was very good and a reasonable price, but breakfast (if you pre order vouchers at check in) is as good as you can have, anywhere in London and super value for money. The staff... More

Dear Guest, If you had enjoyed Indigo so immensely during your stay, wouldn’t it be nice to have others try it too? Besides, it wouldn’t be out fault if you found yourself without a room. You sent in such a wonderful review – Thanks! More

I have stayed in this hotel with my family and we all had a good time there. It is very close to a tube station yet the rooms were quiet. Proper sound insulation in the UK: at last ! The service was friendly and polite.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
