I stayed at Kings Arm with my mother for one week, and it was a nice experience. For a reasonable price we got a warm, clean double room. It had an ensuite bathroom with a good shower, a comfortable double bed, a chair, tv, a small wardrobe and two small tables. The room was very small, but the staff cleaned...

We (2 adults and a 2 yr old) stayed at the King's Arms in August 2011 and found it to be clean, comfortable, well connected (bus stops, DLR and tube within short walking distances), and the staff, especially Mr Dil, were extremely helpful and friendly. The riots broke out whilst we were there, and Mr Dil went to great lengths...

This was value for money. A great location in terms of buses to the O2 (where we spent quite a few nights), and easy access to the DLR and underground. The staff were welcoming and extremely friendly, providing maps and advice wherever possible, and the room - albeit tiny - was well maintained (we had a window along the street...

Okay, it looks terrible from the outside, BUT what a gem! Interior spotlessly clean, comfy bed, fully equipped room, if a little small. (remember this is a budget hotel) Excellent value, fully stocked free kitchen meant we felt right at home. Location fantastic considering the price, right by tube station. Staff were brilliant and so helpful :-) Thanks guys! See...

Great value for money. Rooms are small, but clean and neat. So is the bathroom. DIY stocked kitchen is fantastic. Great location in terms of public transport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fast, free Wifi. Outside a bit run down, but inside is great. Do not stay here if you want to spend a lot of time in the room,...

I got put up in this place by my company and I was working down London. When I arrived the I parked in the side street, walked round to the guesthouse (GH), I looked a bit dodgy to say the least with a group of about 15 teenagers hanging about by the shop a few doors down. Once in to...

Staff is friendly, rooms are very small and are not what you expect from the photo's on internet. If you have a private shower, you shower in the toilet. It is reasonably clean, sheets and blankets are old but clean. With the tube from central london to plaistow station (district- or hammersmith line) takes about 25 minutes. You can take...
