Did not take notice of my request for quiet room, first placed directly outside of lift, resulting in 45 min check in. Then enormous air conditioning units on roof created noise all night – like having a beehive above you. Refused 2nd change in room as by this time it was 22.00. Advised to keep door of bathroom closed due...

Stayed here for one night while at a conference in Westminster. Friendly staff and clean room but man, the noise! My room was on floor 2 but the sound of thumping music coming through the floor was almost unbearable. Hugely overpriced in my opinion (paid £200/night for little sleep)

We chose this hotel because it was very near to the Cenetaph. It is a very large hotel But ok. A little advice, if you like a bath in your room, make sure you ask when booking. We had had the room booked for almost twelve months and we were accused of not asking when we booked, we were going...

Great Service every single time I go. The location is gorgeous as you have views of the Big Ben and it's also convenient, around a 5 minute walk from Waterloo Station. The rooms are kind of dark, not great for doing makeup, but they are clean and the bathrooms are always spotless! Have paid between £120 to £280 for different...

It's my last night here with my family and it's easily been the best hotel I've ever stayed in, the staff are very helpful and very polite at all times, The rooms that I had booked for the trip are everything I had hoped for and the location is amazing and the view is brilliant, I would definitely recommend staying...

Good location , close to rail and plenty of small shops and pubs within walking distance.very nice room and bathroom, although had to laugh at the one painting on the wall of new york! Surely a picture of London would be much nicer for guests who have travelled from another country. The coffee machine didn't work and there were a...

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
