Apartment 17 was just what we were looking for to live in London and feel like a local. I give Apartment 17 3 stars because it is just that, an average apartment in the heart of London. Also, being without washer for 2 weeks and waking up before 6am for the repair man without parts was unexpected, but still the... More

Apartment 17 was an amazing place to spend our time in London. We had the upstairs apartment for two visits in December, one at the beginning of the month, and the other over Christmas. The apartment owner was incredibly helpful, and fantastic to deal with. The apartment itself is in a great location - just a couple of minutes walk... More

Apartment 17 with it's great London location, and super access to the tube is a wonderful property to stay in especially when families are traveling together. Two families rented both apartments for our stay, and really enjoyed the charming property. The owner, Sian, was so helpful in accommodating our large group with 4 teenagers, who loved being able to hang... More

Would def stay here again. I screwed up royally when I gave the owner the wrong arrival date. Since they don't live on the premises, they have to travel to the apartment to greet you, give you keys, etc. Before I had left for London, I had a voice mail from the owner asking where I was, she waited for... My wife and I spent a week here in September 2012. We stayed in the second floor apartment, which is the cheaper of the two. At £120/night, the price is reasonable but I think there should be some sort of price break if you stay for a week or month. Leading up to our trip, I found the owners were... More

Stayed here 2 nights last week before moving onto Belgium. Paid £120 per night which was cheaper than a premier inn and for this we got the whole apartment. Great location, 2 mins walk from Marylebone tube station which also has an M&S food, also 20 mins walk from Lords cricket ground, which was great for us as we went... More

We stayed in the first floor apartment for five nights and would heartily recommend it to anybody. We have been visiting London off and on for many years and this is the first reasonably priced accommodation we've found that we'd return to. Yes, the bedroom in this apartment is small and the bed is up against the wall, and yes... More

We booked this accommodation after much research on the internet as we wanted to be as close to Marylebone Village area as possible and self catering. It turned out to be a great find, and about a 10 min walk to the Marylebone High Street. The best part was the close proximity to the Tube and train only a minute... More

London accommodation being what it is, the price tag on this self-contained apartment seemed pretty reasonable, especailly when you can save a bit of money by doing your own food for part or all of your stay. Overall this apartment was a great introduction to London, being 20 metres away from the train station. It's on the Bakerloo line and... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
