I have stayed at this hotel many times, and it never disappoints. All the rooms are different and unique. The staff is friendly and very attentive to your needs. The decor, comfort and cleanliness are exceptional. An absolute gem. Breakfast is not to be missed. The continental breakfast is more than copious. Afternoon tea is a delight.

The rooms were fairly large by London standards, and the bathroom was outstanding. The shower was particularly nice. What distinguishes this hotel was its staff, who were of five-star quality. The concierge services were outstanding, particularly Theo, who was as competent as anyone I have run across in comparable hotels around the world. The breakfast offered numerous choices, though we...

Our room was small, but perfectly appointed. Wonderful linen both bedroom and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent - immaculate and cleaned frequently. High quality host toiletries. Separate shower stall and large bath - with television that we did not use! Concierge staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. We had an excellent dinner in their restaurant....

I planned a last-minute trip to London for my husband's birthday. We were only there for 4 days and really counted on the hotel staff to help us get organized. They were absolutely top notch. They made our dinner reservations ahead of time and made sure that each venue knew it was a special weekend for us. Each person that...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
