We stayed here over Christmas whilst visiting family, the room (114) was the size of a postage stamp, not particularly clean, although the sheets were, and located above the 24hour taxi service next door to the hotel. The cabbies chatted all night, needlessly shouting at each other in the tiny cab office, and when we complained to reception they said...

Pros: sheets were soft and the bed was really comfortable. Got it for a cheap price (£60) on a last minute rooms type website. Shower was nice and hot. Cons: got put in a basement room. It was really cold down there, rooms were obviously squeezed in. There was a weird fire escape door in my room??? It was obviously...

I booked when I was looking for somewhere cheap to stay in town after a work do. It was super cheap (<£50 B&B) so I was very pleased by that. The website clearly says that the rooms at this price are very small so you really should be aware. Essentially you walk into the room, the single bed is facing...

this hotel was in the best location and places literally in the centre on all the tourist sightseeing. the tube station was only a 5-10 minute walk and was only a 2 or 3 stop to the main sightseeing attraction. you get for what you pay for. breakfast was simple but it was nice and would definitely recommend it to...

This isn't a hotel, it's a mere bed and breakfast with en-suite rooms. Having paid over £90 ($140 E120) per night in a non-central part of London, it was a bad experience. They claim via their website http://tommymiahshotel.co.uk this is an 'Indian themed hotel'. I've stayed in hotels in India and it is not. Unless you think a bedspread with...

I booked a single room for 2 nights and expected just a basic budget room. Unfortunately the room looks more like a closet then a single room. I never had such a terrible service from both the hotel as budgetplaces.com. One good point, the breakfest is ok.

Tommy Miahs Raj Hotel in North London is probably the worst place I´ve ever stayed in. Room 208 is very small and narrow, with one extremely small table – if you can call it a table, on which one could place but only a few, small items. The mattress on a creaking bedframe has long outlived its usefulness. The lighting...

We booked the hotel last minute, we originally booked the apartment for 4 but the hotel rang to change this, they tried to change our booking to a double and a single room, but after discussions on the phone they changed us to two double rooms. No idea how they expected two people to fit in one room especially as...

I stayed here for 1 night whilst working in London. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. I would recommend the hotel for short stay. Exceptional value for the location and the staff are friendly and helpful.
