We stayed in the Terrance Conran suite which is a fantastic two level corner room with full length glass walls on two sides giving great natural light and views. The room was very comfortable with leather sofas and chairs and a king size bed. Prices are on the high side but it is a unique hotel. The staff are extremely...

Thank you Garysuefranalex55 for you lovely review. I am glad hear you stayed in our Conran Suite specially designed by our owner Sir. Terrence Conran, the only suite on of our 5 which was specifically designed reflecting his unique style and tastes. It is indeed a lovely and spacious room and is very comfortable for all our guests. This is my first poor review so let me tell you why. Several clients and I are visiting London on October 5-6. I often encourage my clients to try a new venue so I came across the Boundary through the Design Hotel website. As a lifestyle entrepreneur and travel agent, I reached out to the Boundary's reservations department to discuss...

Dear Frillstyler, I am heartily sorry and genuinely shocked to read this review of Boundary. This is absolutely not the level of service we aim to offer, and I think the majority of reviews on our page would bear that out. Having looked into this matter as much as I am able to without certain key points of information, I'm...

London is perhaps a melting pot of lifestyles and variety. You have the West End Soho areas, Piccadilly, Kensington and the Wharfs, each with their own personality and jet set all vying to take a part. here at the Boundary, it too is located in the heart of its own rhythm being the famed market streets of Shoreditch. An eclectic...

SPG took me here. A hotel close to the City. Reasonably priced. No expectation before arrival. It turned out to be just great. Stayed at the Scandinavian room. Very good size - especially given this is London. This hotel is within 2 min walk to the Bishopsgate end of the City. V convenient. Free dessert for each of the 3...

Thank you Sammy for your review! I think this describes the hotel nicely in a accurate first impression perspective! I hope you will be able to see more into the other little extras things Boundary has to offer. The queue that you would have noticed would have been for our popular Rooftop Bar & Grill, please note that as an...

I stayed at the the Boundary for a few days while here in London for business. I love the Shoreditch neighborhood. I have stayed at Design hotels across the world and really love the concept. The staff here is wonderful and very accommodating, the rooms are large and beautifully designed... And who doesn't like Aesop soaps! However, the hotel rooms...

Luckily we booked ahead for lunch - wouldn't fancy queuing! Food was very good, drinks are quirky. Service was dreadful. When we didn't pay the optional 12.5% service charge, we were told we had underpaid. When we told them why we weren't paying it, there was a discussion amongst the staff for about 15 mins before we were given back...

We spent 5 nights at this really funky boutique hotel. This hotel is a member of the "Design Hotels" organisation with each of the 12 odd rooms and suites being attributed to a well known designer. This is truly a boutique hotel that occupies an old converted building in the heart of the upcoming and trendy Shoreditch area. Limited space...

We celebrated an engagement on the rooftop bar in a private area big enough for 70-80 guests. The staff were brilliant. Came here for the rooftop bar. Queue was short but took ages, a man in a suit came out with a clipboard asking how many of us there were and advised us it was one in one out as they were busy. It all looked very professional and organised and after a 20 minute wait and a few phone calls...

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighbourhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
