Today’s rock’n’roll hotel is less about threats of incidental bodily harm and more about a glamorously decadent atmosphere, and the new model is a place like the Sanctum Soho. Here it means a dash of modern minimalism, a sprinkling of baroque opulence, and an emphasis on the darker end of the color palette. The in-room electronics are totally up to date, while some throwback touches are retained for atmosphere’s sake. It’s a twenty-four-hour hotel with a liberal, tolerant service concept; what you want, you’ll get, without so much as a raised eyebrow. In that, it’s not so fundamentally different from some of London’s more conservative luxury hotels — it just feels naughtier.

Another visit to the Karma Sanctum and always a pleasure. Situated just on the edge of Soho from Regent Street, you are right in the middle of things here. This visit I stayed in a Superior Room which was a good size and comes with so many little extras. It is a little dark, as is the whole look and feel of the place but the bath rooms are bright and it's very very quiet, comfortable beds too. Reception was very friendly and I had breakfast the next day, which is high quality and great value for central London. I also got to use the roof top bar which is airy but lacks any real views sadly. The only issue this time was that the lift packed up and as luck would have it, I had an injured foot. I paid £205 room only which is frankly a steal in a hotel like this and in this location.

Well what can I say. Arrived at the Hotel and was greeted by a very nice man and shown to our table. Staff were very attentive. Chicken Katsu slider OMG amazing Wagu Beef slider there is no words. Vegetable Gyoza’s lovely Then the next course came in a large display box. Beautiful flavours and perfect sizes. Came away feeling very happy and and definitely great value for money. Would definitely recommend for a different Afternoon Tea experience. Cool decor with great atmosphere. All together loved it. Thank you x

After seeing some bad reviews on here, I can confirm they know nothing. Reception (Ellie) was so nice, room was lovely, only one moan is window didn’t open , noise from other rooms at night very quiet, the owner even made a fuss of us on way out and little things like that mean a lot .

This hotel is a great find, centrally located for everything you could need. Two minutes walk to Oxford street, Regent street, Carnaby street and many others. All the theatres are within walking distance. The hotel is amazing, very well kept and extremely clean. The art work throughout the hotel has to be viewed to be believed, incredible. We stayed 2 nights with our small dog and used all of the facilities, the hot tub on the terrace in the roof top bar was an amazing experience and we had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Sherene who treated us to two glasses of champagne because I was celebrating my birthday. Ella and Jackie on the reception desk were especially helpful, in fact all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel, super cool and super chilled and we have already booked our next stay, can’t wait.
