I reviewed this BnB a couple of years ago. It's still great. It is everything we remembered and the landlady, Lee, is equally as delightful as during our last visit 2-1/2 years ago. The mews house is contemporary, probably about 40 years old, built around a hop kiln. Very comfortable, very good continental breakfast, and an easy walk to busses... More

I stayed at the Kiln House about a year ago when it was not on the list of Tripadvisor. The Hostess was pretty strange. I got the feeling she did not really want anyone to stay in her house. I had the single room downstairs with my own private bathroom which was okay and clean. I was asked however to... More

This was not our preferred option for our last 3 days in the UK but the online reviews gave no indication that it should have been near to our last option. Pros: Quite quiet neighbourhood. Central location. Close to tube. OK continental breakfast (don't ask for it before 8.30am or you'll get a whinge). Cons: Not a welcoming hostess. Steep... More

Lee Bender's mews house is a lovely place to call home for a few days in London. It's situation in the quiet upscale neighborhood of Holland Park, with bus service nearby that takes you to railway stations, concert halls, Soho, the museums and the parks. It is possible to completely avoid using the Underground here. The facilities are excellent...good bed,... More

As a regular visitor to London, for both business and leisure purposes, this is the best B&B I have ever encountered. With a quirky kiln in the middle of the house, a peaceful location in a little mews street and a few minutes walk from the tube station/bus stops it is a perfect base to stay whilst in London. Also... More

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this charming B and B in a cobbled street (a mews) in Holland Park, just less than 10 minutes walk from the colourful, trendy Portobello Road market an its beautiful streets. The house was very stylishly decorated as was the en suite bedroom (with TV, coffee, tea). We were in a... More

My wife and I arrived in London at the conclusion of a european holiday with Insight Tours. We had met wonderful people and were disappointed to leave the group. We eventually found the Kiln House B&B after much trouble as the taxi driver had never heard of the address. After knocking at the door at 4:30pm in the afternoon, we... More
