I booked '69 The Grove' as there was such great reviews ! I was staying with Kanley & David for a month on my own and was quite apprehensive at first but they made me feel very much at home and always informed me about new guests staying in the apartment so I always felt safe and secure. The location...

Great location--a short walk to Vauxhall station where you can catch bus/train/underground. Kanley & David have totally renovated their home providing modern ensuite accomodations. They could not have been more welcoming, accomodating, and helpful. If you're going to London you would not find a warmer welcome. Also FANTASTIC BREAKFASTS. Thanks so much!

My mom and I stayed at 69 The Grove while on holiday. We were graciously welcomed and really appreciated being let into our room as soon as it was available. After traveling for over 24 hours we were exhausted. Our room was spacious and charming. The bed was large and the most comfortable one we had throughout our entire European...

Great people and well located (so long as the Victoria line is running). You will probably not like this B&B if you are suffering from a significant walking problem (due to the stairs), are obese, or like a huge room. For us it was fine and comfortable and besides, we were out most of the days anyway. Breakfast was very...

We stayed three nights at the Grove and it was like home except for the smaller room. The location was excellent. 5 min away from the tube and 15 min from Victoria where you can get the tour buses. I recommend the two day hop on hop off pass to visit London and day passes to use the tube. The...

The B&B itself was sold out, so I opted to stay at an ensuite room in one of their nearby apartment properties. There were 2 ensuite bedrooms (shower) and 2 other bedrooms sharing a bath w/ tub. Lots of conveniences of home: ironing board, drying rack, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, pots/pans, MANY cooking utensils, plates, coffee, tea,...

69thegrove was booked out when we emailed for a reservation, but we were offered a place at the nearby apartment just around the corner. The room + ensuite were great, if a little small, but given the price and location we couldn't have asked for better - the place was very charming and with free wi-fi! Plus the common areas...

Yes, the rooms are small. But if you were to pay the same amount of money on the other side of the Thames, you'd probably find yourself in a dump. Or at least in an shabby, impersonal B&B "hotel" without an en suite bath. That's been my experience at least. That's why I found it so refreshing to stay at...

Everything that has been written is true - both the good and the not so good. Well located, quiet, excellent beds, crazy clean and the most helpful hosts you could hope for. Yes, some of the rooms and the bathrooms are small but they are well appointed and it is in a major city where that is the norm. Anything...

We were in a very small room that was just big enough to turn around in. The breakfasts were excellent though.

There is clearly some exaggeration here as our rooms are a perfectly adequate size for the purpose of their use, we are aware that some guests are used to a certain size of room but we make aware to them that our rooms are not the largest. We even provide the dimensions of our beds and rooms as to not...
