Close Tower of London. London Bridge . Lovely pub next door 😀. Hotel could do with air con but other than that a great place to stay with reasonable rates . Breakfast was plentiful . Would book again

Was here for 5 days, whilst on a course. Rooms are small but fine, bathroom is shower only. Clean enough but a few dodgy hairs here and there but heh at £52 a night in London, what do you expect-the Ritz? Room was cleaned each day, fresh towels, and bed changed every 2 days that I could see. TV on...

Clean comfortable hotel conveniently situated. Pleasant staff . Would definitely stay at this location again. Request non road facing room with high floor - we had ground floor room although quiet was facing brick wall.

We arrived very late to the hotel as we'd been held up by the closure of the Embankment, so our check-in was very quick. The rooms were exactly what you'd expect from a travelodge, mine backed out onto the LDR so not the quietest night's sleep I've ever had but the bed was comfy & the shower was warm. Breakfast...

Very convenient for the tube, just a few minutes away, so very easy to get around London. The overground rail lines are right next to the hotel but I have stayed rail & road side and when the windows are shut there is,surprisingly, no noise from either side. The hotel is clean and tidy with all the staff very helpful....

The hotel was close to tube station so great for access into town but also close enough to walk in. It was lovely and clean and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The bed was king size and really comfortable. We stayed on the front on the road side it was quiet , maybe avoid back by train line....

I know a lot of people who criticise Travelodge but I've no idea why, the hotels are always clean, comfortable & reasonably priced...the Tower Bridge Travelodge is no exception to that! We stayed 3 nights here on a theatre/sightseeing trip & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. As I said the rooms were clean & comfortable...the only complaint I had...

Ive stayed at this travelodge a number of times and it always does the job. Booked 3 months ahead for a Thursday in mid December which is always busy as its xmas party season. Had room on the third floor, toon near the end of the corridor. Nice and quiet, room clean, comfy bed.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
