Refused entry due to the new set up and less public bar space on a Tuesday….I was a previous member, trying to take some clients for a casual drink at 8 pm. But with the recent changes, there is now less space for non-members.

Stayed here last night. First time visiting the hotel. Greeted by very helpful staff who assisted with our luggage. Walking into the grand foyer we were met with live band playing on stage in the centre. Great atmosphere. The suite was fantastic. Couldn’t fault anything about this place. We had breakfast today in the electric bar. The staff were so friendly and efficient. Special mention to Bisu who was so warm and welcoming. She even brought me a mini birthday cake at the end of breakfast which was lovely. You would be missing out if you don’t visit here when In the city. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Don’t let the reviews put you off, we had an amazing time at the Ned. I booked the Sunday sleepover which was a cosy room, breakfast, the Neds feast for two people and access to the spa. I was aware before booking we would only have access to certain areas and this was fine. I had arranged a cake for my boyfriends birthday before we arrived which was beautiful, they also upgraded us to a medium room as we were celebrating which was so lovely! The Neds feast was incredible- we had a glass of wine or fizz included and then the amazing buffet with seafood, roasts and dessert. We ate in Amelias and got to enjoy the live music as well. Breakfast the next morning was great- we had the option of room service which we took. There was a tray charge and additional service charges on top of everything but that was fine as service was fantastic. Loved using the pool the next morning. Can’t wait to book again!

We just had a coffee this time - I took some friends there mid morning. It's a place to show off! Such beautiful surroundings in this Edwin Lutyens former bank. The decor is beautiful and the service is very good, so the price tag of £4.50 for a coffee is worth it.

Great hotel for look and feel rooms are little small but the amenities and service are amazing. Every night there is live music. And the drinks and food are top nauch. Staff are skilled and actually remember you the next night. The only downside if you don't join their ned club there are areas you cannot go. This is crazy when you pay for a room for 10 nights this should be given.
