This is a great venue. Family run business, super friendly and accommodation. A lovely atmosphere with friendly locals. With a new chef on board, food is great and wholesome. Definitely worth dropping in for a pint!

My partner and I had a mega expensive weekend in London with a west end show and 2 concerts planned so we wanted to find cheap accommodation, I have to say that this place fits the bill! Rooms are clean (if a little dated) and surprisingly large! It was warm and quiet, the staff have been pleasant and helpful! As...

Ordered a beer and chicken with green curry. I had read their food was delicious and authentic and it really is. I was very happy i went there. Prices are good too. Staff could be a little more accommodating and friendly. When I arrived there a couple of people were seated on a table for 2 and had some of...

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! I had THE worst experience at this hostel. 2 days before I was due for a trip to London with a friend, I get a message from them saying that we can only stay there for 1 night instead of the 5 we had originally booked (We had booked 6 months in advance). They blamed an...

Rude, unprofessional, lazy; those are the only words I can think of when describing the Windmill. They should change business quick because they can't even run a decent pub or even be remoely polite. Judging from the pub, I sure as hell wouldn't trust the b&b. The girl working behind the bar has no manners and is not fit to...

Great location, Room was very clean and large for normal standards let alone London. Although I was up the top of the hotel, please note there are no lifts and kept getting lost trying to find the bar/reception! Bed very comfortable, great shower. Only thing was it overlooked the pub garden so could have been a little loud if had...

Refursbished recently, great rooms, great pub, unfortunally very loud at times but it's a pub isnt'it? I go there each time I go London, it's a great location, and has a lot of personality . Nearby shops, tube and cabs. I love the Windmill.

My partner and I stayed in April while on a trip to London. We're a young couple from Ireland, so cheap and cheerful was what we were looking for, even though it is quite far from central London, but easily accessible by Tube or Overground. We ended up getting lost in Acton after getting off the tube at 11 at...

First of all the place was cold. Insted of looking at the temperature they looked at the calender in deciding weather or not to turrn up the heating. It was late April and rather cold. The solution was to use the (noisy)blow-dryer to heat things up. All the doors of our room stuck. the door to the bathroom did not...
