We found this hotel thru Hotels.com - wanted a centrally located hotel that could accommodate 2 adults and a teen and give the teen some privacy. We arrived to find a basement "suite" with little natural light. The "2nd" bedroom was the kitchen/living room/bedroom with a futon. The futon was not even made up though sheets were provided. When we...

I found this chain of hotels when I was looking for a modern and comfortable place near Paddington. This was well priced (£170) for June which is very busy in London forcing prices up. Usually the pictures are better than reality. In this case they were actually accurate. The building has been renovated but it's a bit cheap if you...

A very nice, clean, modern, bright, reasonably well-equipped studio in the heart of London, at a decent price. I never knew there was anything like this in the centre of London! Definitely recommended for short stays.

It is a very good location near metro, bus-stop Easy. Likewise, basic shopping there can be had for around the corner. Rooms are normal, suitably furnished. All clean and tidy, including the bathroom (we had 3 rooms). The kitchen is small, just as there are few facilities dishes. But what I think is caused by previous guests. The staff is...

The location was very nice. Close to Baker Street Tube station and the bus takes you directly from Oxford Street to the apartment block. The staff were helpful and the place was clean. Would definitely recommend this location

London on a budget tends to offer up the frayed soiled ends of cramped and grimy accommodation so our expectations were luke warm when we arrived at 146 after a long flight. We’d chosen this accommodation for it’s location and because we wanted a place would be self catering and have good wi fi. The entrance would benefit from the...

Stayed in attic of 148 Gloucester Place - much more pokey than in images on website - and only fire escape route is down four floors of wooden stairs to front door! Rather depressing room with spartan equipment - only one hard chair for two people!

I booked a suite at this hotel as attending the Annual Hearing Dog Awards of whom Princess Anne and a lot of celebrities would be there. Spoke to Leonardo the owner and explained to him that I would need my retired Hearing Dog and my current working Hearing Dog to attend and that they are both registered as Hearing Dogs...

I booked this apartment through expedia and was told that my credit card would be charged on departure from the hotel. I then got an email from the hotel asking for photocopies of my card (front and back) and a copy of my passport. I emailed back immediately asking why they needed this as expedia stated that I would be...

Location is great, 5minutes walk to the tube, there's also free wifi. Bad points, the reception office is supposed to be open from 10am until 6pm, as I was arriving late I already knew I would have to collect my key from another hotel. However the key I was given on the Friday night stopped working after 12hours so I...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
