I booked a double room for a visit to a restaurant in the area. Having had a long cold journey on the train I was really pleased to find the room was beautifully warm. Quite minimal decor but everything I needed for an overnight stay. The shower, although it took a long time to warm up was hot and a...

Fantastic value; beautiful, clean rooms in a superb location. The staff were wonderfully helpful and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and also printing out some material we needed for a meeting. Highly recommended.

You do not need towels, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, or milk, they proved soap, hair items, shower gel, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, iron, hair dryer and slippers, which my husband and i used in honesty at the hospital. I was at the room alone and felt so very safe, as my hubby had to stay in hospital till the...

We're Canadian so used to larger rooms but the room we had included everything as advertized, we clean and comfy, and the staff was very helpful during booking and during our stay. (We made a special room request which was met without extra cost.)

The people who own this place do not give any thought to other guests or locals in the area. Last night there was a street party outside the apartments from residents in the building. Cars outside blasting music until 5pm with residents inhaling banned and illegal nitrous oxide and drinking whisky at the entrance. If you would like to see...

Everything was there: tv, refrigerator, small kitchen, etc. The room service was very good as well. The attendants from the hotel were very nice with us but in fact we haven't needed to see then a lot because MStay is more like an apartment than a hotel.

Like other reviewers, we could hear everything that was going on outside the room. People going down the stairs, up the stairs, talking at the stairs etc. You do not want to stay here if you have a big/heavy luggage. There is no lift and you have to climb the stairs with your luggage. I do not recommend this place...

My family and I stayed for 2 nights in a triple room which was located on the lower ground floor. Room was clean enough but very little natural light. The worst thing was the noise at night from the room directly above us. You could here every foot fall and at one point it seemed like there was an army...

Me and my husband had booked three nights at this hotel. We travel every year and have stayed in numerous hotels, but this is the first time we've ever left after one night and paid for another hotel. We were expecting a small room, so that wasn't a shock. The hobs they provided weren't working, so if we wanted to...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
