The standard of the room and the furniture was actually quite bad. We liked the location best and the service was excellent, som after all it is good value for the money.

The appartment we stayed in was not particularly clean and very used up, but it was very comfortable. Clean towel and bedding was provided and the kitchen was almost fully equipped, though some smaller things may have been stolen by previous...

Appartment hotell with great location. 5 mins to Hydepark and Speakers Corner/Hydepark. Very good for families with small kids. We had a three room appartment; one rum for me and my girlfriend, one room for my two kids and one room for TV. Great when the kids wake up (too) early in the morning! BUT the maintenance of the room...

family stay in London for 4 nights. Very good location and quiet. Good size but apartments are very, very tired and in need of a good renovation. Got early access to the apartment which was appreciated after a long haul flight but didn't enjoy the smell of an unflushed toilet when we first opened the door which wasn't nice! Furniture...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
