Beautiful club sandwich and delicious London Pride ale at the Wellington. Superb service and Fullers beers. Top place to meet for a veer, grab some lunch with colleagues or watch sports. The team are fantastic. Happy

I was looking for a hotel close to the Oxo Tower, and the Wellington seemed an appropriate price and is less than ten minutes' walk away. It was also handy that I was able to book through Booking.com, as I wanted to be able to pay on the day rather than at booking time. The hotel's pretty easy to find:...

The room was very small and came with ear plugs! The main line could just about be touched from my room window, great if there is ever a zombie attack for a means of escape! Found it hard to get food downstairs because it was busy and when I did the food was cold. Ok for 1 night.

My room was No.25 on the top floor. 61 steep steps with no lift and a VERY heavy suitcase. Ear plugs lying on the bedside table were an omen for the level of train noise since the room overlooked some of the lines into Waterloo Station. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, free WiFi and free drink if...

Stayed one night after going to the O2. Lovely clean modern room, well stocked bar, had a couple of cheeky glasses of wine. Breakfast was great, right by Waterloo underground, perfect for us and just £50 for the 2 of us..... bargain

I met a friend here for dinner. We just wanted to catch up and the pub environment was good. Not too noisy and we easily found a quiet corner to chat. We both ordered fish and chips. One of the best I've had. Great crispy batter and divine chips. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the Wellington last week, for one night. If you arrive at Waterloo station on the Bakeloo line(like I did from Paddington) make sure you follow the signs to Jubilee line and then exit the station as this will exit you right opposite the hotel. That was a real bonus when I realised the proximity. So location, definitely -...

Only stopped in on a couple of occasions for a pint after work, but service was good, and ale was the correct temperature and fantastic! It was particularly busy one night, but staff was very attentive.

Great location, had a room on the top floor so had a fantastic quiet nights sleep in very comfy beds. Room was perfect for one nights sleep as it had all you needed. Lovely breakfast included in the morning, would recommend as close to London Eye, Waterloo train station and London Dungeon etc.
