We booked a 2 bedroom apartment as a treat for a girly night away. We had spent all day walking around London and this was a great place to return to. The apartment had fantastic views over the river front and the room sizes were great. The lower floor (kitchen/sitting room) was freezing, we called to ask for assistance and...

Stayed in apartment with 3 friends for 1 night. Amazing riverside views in fantastic location. Downside apartment looking rather tired decoratively, handle came adrift from a cupboard door in hallway, heating totally erratic - roasting in bedrooms upstairs however freezing downstairs ?? Asked concierge twice for assistance with heating and although they tried to be helpful - still very cold....

We booked a 4 bed apartment for 8 of us to celebrate 2 40th birthdays, we were given a free upgrade to a 5 bedroom suite which was on 2 floors!! This great news made up for the poor check in service. It took at least 20 minutes, the receptionist struggled with us paying part cash and part card. The...

I was upgraded to these apartments by Hotel Rafayel on the Left Bank as the hotel owns part of complex. I stayed in a two bed apartment which had side view of the Thames. There is a massive balcony on the upper level with two bathrooms. A spiral staircase goes down to the lower level where there is a lounge,...

A four bed apt with great views. Extremely comfortable. Staff were helpful restaurant was excellent for lunch. The special offer was very good. Transport was poor . Tube a long way away . One bus into central London outside the apts. This was the only niggle in a beautifull appartment.

Apartments are split level which is not mentioned on internet when booked but comfortable and have very nice view of river but very far from underground station, shops and restaurants except one restaurant in the same building on river side. and although they say there is shuttle every half an hour actually it is just a small saloon car and...

Firstly, the apartment we had was stunning. We stayed in a large four-bed which had masses of space and an incredible view out over London. The building is impressive and has great decor. However, the apartments let themselves down on the service side of things. The staff were by and large very helpful and polite, but they seemed to all...

We stayed here with our two children on the night of 30th December on a spur-of-the-moment trip to London to celebrate a birthday. The apartment was spacious. It was a duplex which we were not aware of. Not an issue for most people but we have an adventurous 15 month old and within 5 minutes of arriving he had tumbled...

Just got back from a nights stay at this hotel, i shared an apartment with 4 others. On arrival we were supposed to leave our car at the tiny entrance for some one to park but it was that tight and there was somebody behind us, so we called somebody who was at the entrance and he insructed us where...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
