What do you need from a hotel when you visit a large city where you priority is what you find outside the hotel? A bed, a shower, may be a TV. Continental Hotel near Paddington gives you that – and nothing more. What you save on the room you can better spend on extras in the city itself. There are...

I stayed at this hotel with a couple of friends for my friends birthday. The place was cosy and the staff were really great. They shows us a few local places to grab a drink and some good food. The room was good and big and over looked a nice park / green. We were on the second floor so...

We were two in a small room with a double and a twin bed. The room was relatively clean - though very worn. The bathroom/shower requires flexibility to use; it is just plain tiny. The bedding is thin and the 1980s-era small color TV received maybe nine, useless channels. But why are you watching TV if you are visiting London,...

I had to look for a cheap hotel in Central London as friends had to come over from Spain and wanted to be close to me. I made inquiries on the internet and in person, and decided to book them at the continental hotel although the reviews I read were mixed. The hotel is decent and well maintained the room...

Stay away from that hotel! Anything is better. When I stayed there, the walls were covered all over with black mold. I asked for a different room and got one with only a little bit of black mold. The staff was extremely rude. There was no breakfast. When I asked for the breakfast that was supposedly included, one of the...

We spent 2 nights here, 2 of us in each room, we had a clean room and friendly staff, location is perfect, we caught train a lot as it was so central and in a nice place, Paddington station is literally across the road, we also did a lot a shopping at Oxford street that is walking distant from the...

I spent three days here The room here is a decent size, much bigger than the box room i had a couple of weeks ago in the South Kensington. I had one of the rooms that are on the ground floor which was handy. There were no lifts here for the other floors. The room is clean and tidy. Location is...

I knew in advance that this place wasn't going to be great considering how much i was paying, but i stayed there 3 nights a week for ten weeks while whirling in London. On three seperate stays i was eaten alive with insects and left with rashes and red blotches all over me. Eventually when a bug crawled up the...

We stayed here last year and the experience still feels like yesterday, quite literally, I still feel the crawling where the weird and very persistent rash was that I got as a token of our stay. On the first night I woke up to a mutantly large rat forcing entry into my handbag for the bag of nuts I had...
