This hotel exceeded expectations. The check in process was very quick and easy. The in room tech was amazing with the ability to close/open the blinds at the touch of a button on the iPad..and loved fiddling round with the mood lighting! The bed was...More
I was really surprised by this hotel! Tucked away just behind the cool Shoreditch bars and restaurants is quite a big, funky hotel. When you walk through the main entrance you are greeted with a cool vibe. It’s modern, crisp, chilled out.

I chose this hotel because it was close to where my friend lives. I was not disappointed. I arrived exhausted a few hours before check in time and they were able to get me a room. It ended up being a handicap room which was...More
Not sure how it got 4*, the rooms are very dusty, and clearly a bugger to clean everyday for the staff or shall I say Ambassador. Apart from the rammed hipster bar downstairs, the hotel was fine but the gimmick Star Trek rooms weren’t as...More

The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about
Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.

this is quite accessible, but many of the venues you list are a little further south and west, so you could look to stay over towrads Southwalk or the South Bank - that said , this is london, so there is much to see and the tube is pretty handy.
This place is busy on an evening, so plenty of people around. Oyster ? you still have one? most people use the phone to tap, of a pay-wave enabled card - just as cheap
I v much like Citizen M - clean and compact
