I shared a room with 3 other girls, 2 of which were friendly. Unfortunately the 3rd was not. She was ill mannered, would make phone calls and weird noises at all hours and was untidy. Obviously this is not the hostels fault. The room I was in was number 4, a 4 bed female only dorm with a window onto...

(I;m not a seasoned hosteller at all! :)) Spent one night in a 4-person room; Surprised to have fresh bedlinen (pillowcase, sheet, duvet cover) which shows how little I knew. (I had brought my own sleeping bag). Comfortable bunkbed, fine at £16, friendly staff; nice communal kitchen for coffee/breakfast. Great location for a gig in the New Cross Inn next...

Really friendly staff and clean bathrooms, at a very good price. I also liked that they have breakfast, and they have a little kitchen, which many hostels in London don't. Convenient enough to downtown by public transport, with nice ethnic food in the neighborhood at friendly prices. Overall, a great deal for the budget-conscious backpacker. Thx for a lovely stay...

The staff is helpful, the rooms are clean, the atmosphere is relaxed. Only downside is that the bathrooms' showers are a bit old and therefore sometimes have little water pressure, but everything is clean. New Cross Inn isn't fancy, but offers a plain accomodation at a fair price.

I've been in this hostel in December 2014 for 5/6 days, I wanted to live and work in London and I spent my first days there. The hostel is pretty nice, people working there are really friendly and helpful. I had free breakfast which was ok, and I was staying at the third floor in a 8 people dorm. The...

Really enjoyed my time at this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and made it feel like home. The common areas were tidy and my room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast and free tours were an excellent touch. I also loved hanging out at the bar downstairs - they play free music every night :) I will definitely...

Don't go there if you are sensible to noise. It was terribly noisy at first floor dorms. But the place is cheap, clean and neighborhood is nice. Personal is helpful is you need. People were nice in general.
