Stayed for 2 nights either side of a trip to France, only one very minor problem was that the bedroom was very warm during the night, unless you kept the air con going all night. Staff could not have been more helpful, & the food was excellent.

We have stayed at the VSC on many occasions. We have always found the staff to be courteous and welcoming. The rooms are clean and relatively inexpensive for a central London location. The breakfast room can be quite busy at times, but the food is plentiful.

Extremely friendly staff and very clean. Good value too. The only downside was the traffic noise, lots of it into the small hours. Not the hotels fault, just how it is in central London. All in all not bad at all!

We have stayed at the Club several times and always enjoyed our stay. Rooms very comfortable and en suite. Breakfast is excellent and in the Grill room. Bar snacks in the lounge are tasty and you can get afternoon tea. We ate in the Grill room one evening and had a very good meal. The staff are attentive and the...

As a Vietnam-era USN Vet, I discovered I was eligible to join the VSC and did so in early 2016. I've stayed there thrice since, and each stay has been a pleasure. While some can be small, by US standards, the rooms are well kept and provide the amenities single travelers like me need w/o going over the top -...

This place rocks. Especially for the price. It had been refurbished recently so all rooms are spanking new. You do Need to be a member but that can be sorted easily. My suggestion is to get a friend to sponsor you. Them make your mind up

My wife and I spent two nights here as a getaway for our wedding anniversary. My Wife is from a Forces family and that is obviously how we were able to book this hotel. It's so well placed. We travelled up from Cornwall and got of the train at Paddington and we were straight there. Oxford Street is also 5...

Pros: good location; helpful, welcoming staff; comfortable rooms; very, very reasonable pricing for London. A block or so away from the Marble Arch Tube station. Cons: none, really, unless one is looking for a five star hotel, which this is not - nor does it pretend to be. The food is nothing special, but adequate.
