DO NOT STAY HERE !!!! its soo dirty and disgusting. 4 of us lads turned up to stay here we go to our room there already 2 lads we dint know in there find out they have to share our room. Goes out gets back after night out to find 5 of our beds taken so speak to the lady running the place she goes to the room and says one can stay in here and one can stay in a different room leaving 2 of us stuck so we ask for a refund and they say that's fine itl take days and they dint offer to help us to find anywhere leaving us stranded where we dont have a clue what we are doing and now are refusing to give our money back 😡 £120
Recent stag do trip to liverpool, King Harry was an ideal spot to stay. Had 2 rooms booked and both were exactly as advertised, clean and comfy. Danielle the owner was an excellent host, even leaving fresh bottled water for the lads. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there on any return trips to liverpool.
Twelve of us Stayed at the king Harry this weekend it was Perfect for a stag or a group of lads going to the game, clean rooms, comfy beds and the landlady was great, nothing was too much bother for her. Looking forward to returning on a match day .
We stayed in this hostel myself and my friends and five stars are not enough to give an idea of how great it was !! Literally in front of the legendary Anfield stadium perfect for watching liverpool games! The atmosphere in the hostel during matches is glowing. You can see the Liverpool team bus coming to the field right under your window! 'a typical pub down stairs where you can entertain yourself before, during and after the match. The rooms are spacious, clean, bright, clean bathrooms. There are refrigerators in the kitchen so you're sure the beers are cold ;) , toast jam and cereal with milk toaster to have a free breakfast. I have personally found it very convenient even to visit the city center which is only 10min away and the bus stop is within walking distance. In addition there is Kevin the warm manager of the hostel who he gave me a lot of advice on how to get around the city center, where to have lunch, he was also very kind to get us the taxi to get to the airport as we had problems to get to the airport in time..I can highly recommend it! Thanks again Kevin, I would be happy to see you again.…
Received a text on WhatsApp at 5 o’clock on the day that me and a friend had booked to stay stating they would not be able to honour the booking. They attempted to blame the website but it was clear the fault lay with the property. Eventually told us to book alternative accommodation saying we would be reimbursed but now they are just ignoring all communication. Stay away, completely unreliable and dishonest!
Shortly after booking this we began to read the reviews on tripadvisor which were extremely off-putting. Although, after staying at the hostel I feel that the majority of the reviews are very harsh as this place isn’t bad at all! Four of us stayed in an eight man room and cannot really complain. Decent place to stay after a night out, I personally don’t really care about the aesthetics of the place when I’ve had a skin full of ale. Yes the mattresses could have been slightly better but what do you expect for thirty odd quid. Martin is also a sound geezer who was helpful and answered any questions we asked.
The location is perfect. 3 minute walk to the stadium! It is a hostel which has all the basic stuff you'd expect. Can't fault it at all. It's good for few days which is affordable & great to watch the football. Internet connection is very good. Martin is friendly & is easily contactable should he be required. (Manager of the hostel)
12 of us booked in for a stag party, place looks awful from the outside and doesn’t get much better inside. The bar is ran separately to the hostel and the owner Robbie was sound. However the hostel was a #### hole. None of the doors locked and the bunk beds were falling to pieces. After the leaving the hostel today the owner has text us demanding we pay for all the bunk beds in total of £200. Do not book this place. Pay an extra £20 and get a nice little hotel. You’d find better in Syria
It Was The Worst Hostel I Ever Stayed In There Was No toiletries Only 1 pillow And I Was Asked For £50 When I Already Payed For The Room And The Money I Payed For The Room Was To Much For What Little There Was
I stayed here recently to watch the Liverpool Fc game and the hostel is so close to Anfield you can actually see it from the Hostel. Martin was extremely helpful and after i left my ipad behind by mistake he was kind enough to post it back to me. I will be returning to watch Liverpool fc again next season and willreturn to stay here.
