We got married here on the 5th June. Apart from a few issues we had to endure over the past few years since we first booked, the day went really well. The staff were all very helpful, the layout for the wedding was really well presented. The food was really nice. Nearly everything we asked for was well prepared for and executed very well. All in all apart from the weather we had a great day and would recommend this hotel for any type of event. Once again we would like to thank Alison and the staff for our Perfect day.

We got married at the suites in may. Well I would not recommend! The food was absolute garbage. The staff weee stealing items from tables and only when we asked to see the cctv were they returned! The breakfast was unedible. No sir conditioning in the room or at least it wasn’t working so the room was unbearable! Overall I would never ever recommend getting married here and if you have something booked make you have eyes on all your cards and handbags! The bar was also very very expensive! If it wasn’t for our guests, dj and entertainment we would have had the worse day! Do not get married here!

We have stayed at the Suites Hotel Knowsley on many occasions when we attended football matches in Liverpool, and always enjoyed our stay. We stayed there last night, our first since the Pandemic started and we were horrified and sad in equal measure at how much it has changed. From entering the front gate and finding a large metal barricade blocking the left side of the hotel, not a good first impression of somewhere you are going to stay for leisure. You now enter at the back of the hotel to the right, near the spa. The bright spacious well stocked dining room at the front of the hotel has been replaced by a poorly stocked makeshift room at the back without any natural light. The breakfast is no longer good quality and delicious, it is now a plate of inedible boiled mushrooms and other gunge. The air conditioning to the bedrooms/sitting area has been switched off!! In a hotel in the UK it's a basic requirement, not a luxury. Suite aircon is replaced by one fan (too noisy to use) the window opens a little but not an option due to the relentless traffic noise from the dual carriageway 24/7. It was absolutely melting and we usually feel the cold! The pillows available we like house bricks to sleep on, the hairdryer had bare live electrical wires. No breakfast tea or body lotion supplied. The cost of this abysmal accommodation was beyond acceptable. We informed the Reception staff regarding these issues, their attitude was basically, you have mistaken us for someone who cares! You probably realise by now that we do not recommend this hotel.

Came to the suites on a spa break in 2019 and it was beautiful so thought I would bring my partner for his 30th. The main part of the hotel has been closed off to guests including the main restaurant area. In its place we were served tea and breakfast in a makeshift function room with no atmosphere, hardly any staff and mismatched furniture. Saying that, the food itself was beautiful. The spa has been condensed and the lunch area closed off and moved into the spa lounge so that room isn't available unless you want to pay extra. The spa lounge where you could get complimentary drinks has been moved into the quiet room, which defeats the object when people are coming in clinking glasses ect. The thermal suite had a leak so the sauna was closed however you could use the sauna in the pool area once your time in the spa was over. The rooms were as I remember them from 2019. They could do with freshening up but the decor is lovely. I would visit again once the main hotel reopens to guests but probably not while it's closed. We felt like we were an after thought, shoved to the back of the hotel out of the way to keep us separate from those using the main part of the hotel.

The room was as described, spacious, well equipped, the staff were amazingly good, admittedly we did not use the restaurant or spa, but the pool was all ok. Building is of course dated but for the money paid it was as expected. Half of the hotel is currently being used by a "government contract" but that was sealed off and won't affect your stay. All in all would reccomend.

We got married at the Suites on Friday 8th April 2022. It was the best day of our lives. The staff were excellent! Hannah our toastmaster was so lovely and professional and she made sure the day went smoothly. Alison Lockhart our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing from start to finish keeping us calm and guiding us through the wedding planning process. All the staff were so attentive and couldn't do enough for us. They put lovely hanging baskets out for our outdoor photos and were so accomodating letting us provide our own too. The wedding breakfast was delicious. We had tomato and red pepper soup, beef roast dinner and sticky toffee pudding and it was lovely. The canapés were fab too. We stayed in the Lincoln suite which was amazing. It was like having our own apartment and the facilities were fab. Loved the jacuzzi bath. The night before the wedding the staff let the Groom and his ushers use the pool, steam room and jacuzzi which was a lovely suprise that he wasn't expecting. Thank you so much to all the staff at the Suites. We can't wait to return! Love Rosie and Graham. X

From the start, Alison was wonderful helping us organise everything. The reception was absolutely incredible. All the staff were amazing - Hannah was brilliant as our toastmaster. The food was delicious (we had MANY comments), the room looked beautiful and everyone just had the best time. Thank you so much for the BEST wedding reception!

Awful. I was so disappointed with my experience. I had been previously in 2019 and thought it was lovely so rebooked as my friend was visiting. Its really gone downhill over 2 years. No customer service, really unhelpful staff, no food available at lunchtime and then the dinner we booked we waited over an hour sat in a miserable function room with no ambience or vibe at all. Checkin was 2pm as was my spa treatment so in turn was then late for the treatment so didn't get what was advertised or what I had paid for. Didn't have time to take my makeup off or anything was not relaxing at all. Pool was filthy, sauna was out of order. No atmosphere whatsoever and hardly any staff on hand to help. Awful. Would not recommend. We checked out at 6am it was that bad!
