After postponing my hen do numerous times due to Covid, I finally got to have it…even though it was after we actually got married haha! But we had a complete blast!! We stayed in the iconic penthouse! We checked in at the Arthouse hotel and left our luggage there as we arrived before check in. We later checked in and headed over to the apartment. I wasn’t too keen that the outside door is sometimes left open for anyone to get in but if everyone shuts it behind them it’s fine. The door to the apartment has a key code. I’m not gonna lie the door didn’t look too safe and rattled but we made sure nobody could get in to make sure it worked and didn’t open without the code. The apartment does look a little dated and could do with tidying up and a lick of paint, however we arrived to hen party decorations, personalised cupcakes and lots of bottles of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. On the first night we couldn’t get the music player to work, so I called the hotel reception and the guy was straight over to sort it for us! He couldn’t get it to work so offered to go get us a stereo system from another hotel. This was around 10.30pm and he finished at 10 so we were so grateful for this as he didn’t have to do that for us! On the Saturday we had a meal booked in at Alma De Cuba and that was just amazing!!!! All in all we had a fabulous weekend and it was definitely worth the wait! So hopefully this review gives you all a bit of positivity for your upcoming visit ☺️

Has anyone actually managed to have any contact with this company or managed to even stay at any of their properties recently? I originally booked the Iconic Room for March 2021 but due to Covid restrictions I changed this via email in December 2020. I received email communications back and forth with both a lady called Jeni and another called Mary. They both helped me change my booking (with ease) to March 2022. I received another booking confirmation email along with T&C’s, yet this confirmation showed that my reservation had now increased by over £2000 for a 2 night stay. I have been trying to contact this company for months to clarify this. I have spent over 6 hours on hold with not one call answered. Numerous emails, social media messages and nothing. How can I risk turning up to my booking on the day for them to charge me a remaining balance of nearly double the original cost!!!! WISH I’D NEVER BOOKED THROUGH THIS COMPANY

We originally booked in March 20 which was cancelled due to lockdown, rebooked for September cancelled again then rebooked for March 21. At the time we were advised that it was ok to have more than six stay (all from different households)despite this being against lockdown rules as we form a ‘bubble’ when we enter the hotel, completely against government advice. Fortunately hotel stays were cancelled again so we were advised we could rebook. I have been trying to rebook for 23 weeks! Sent first email on 26/02/21 and have sent numerous emails in between and left numerous messages all ignored. Finally someone got back to me today, no apology for delay just informing me that rates have gone up and we now need to pay an additional £180 an increase of 50% on original booking. I have asked for any date they could accommodate us for original price and told no. They are also refusing a refund despite their obligations under consumer law. The person on email is also refusing to provide contact details of anyone in the organisation that I can complain to. They are clearly demonstrating that they do not cate about customer service. There are some amazing hotels in Liverpool and I strongly advise everyone to book somewhere different to here!
