We s1tayed in a 2 bed apartment and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space. We had our two toddlers with us and they stayed in one room while we stayed in the other. A travel cot was proved (we brought a second one with us) and they both just about fit in the second bedroom without having to move stuff around. The staff are also lovely, very friendly, up for a chat, and really nice to deal with. Very well located, just a few minutes walk to all the shops and bars and a car park over the road that will do a reduced rate for you if you mention the hotel. There are a few downsides: the whole place is a little tired, it needs some tlc as it's a bit rough around the edges, a good lick of paint would work wonders. It also really smells of weed and fags, we had to air out all the rooms to get rid of it. The walls are paper thin, it's very noisy when people are coming and going so sleep can be disturbed. All in all, if you want something cheap and central, it's ideal. If you're expecting luxury you're looking in the wrong place.…
Company booked this hotel. Room damp and cold. Full of youngans smelled like weed and just out side the door was loads of these little gas canisters. People shouting down to people they know giving them code to to door. No food or drinks for keys workers to get snacks. There was a fire alarm I didn't hear and person running it on site said there was just too much smoking in the hotel and couldn't promise it wouldn't happen again. All in all would not recommend.
Due to an error with Expedia. Our reservation was not forwarded from hotel.com and we lost our room. Jimmy was amazing. He dealt with the customer service department at hotels.com. Them saying it was down to them to pay the difference for a new room. He kept his charm even when i couldn’t. I would highly recommend the podworks hotel Liverpool to anyone. The customer service we received from Jimmy was amazing. Thank you for your calm demeaned when dealing with Hotels.com mess up. Top man. Thank you again
For the price of this hotel you cant beat the value the Podworks provides. The size of the hotel rooms is evident in the name. I really enjoyed my stay at the Podworks Hotel and would recommend it to couples of those on business. The receptionist who checked us in was also very nice and friendly
I would not recommend this room to claustrophobic people it's a lot smaller than it appears. Rooms are certainly NOT sound proof I can hear every single word that is being said next door. However after that moan, the staff are absolutley lovely and helpful, the hotel is in a great location and the rooms are relatively clean.
