Overall very good hotel. Large spacious modern rooms using quality finishes with hardwood floors. Very large comfortable beds. Hotel located in the attractive Georgian area. Food in restaurant was good for dinner although i thought the breakfast was very disappointing. The choice of continental was limited and uninspiring. I also ordered a bacon sandwich was dry. We ate in the...

I have stayed in every type of room they have, from the standard to the penthouse. Its well worth keeping an eye on their website or twitter/facebook feeds for special offers: room upgrades, free fizz, free breakfast etc. The bedding is great, great pillows and a snuggly duvet. The staff are very friendly and helpful, obviously I will be going...

I stayed in the HSH for a week on business & it was an absolute pleasure. The staff were welcoming & friendly. Nothing felt too much trouble. The beds were superb quality & I felt well rested each morning. A bonus was also the hotel gym. Small, but perfect! The only points that I would note for improvement would be...

Stayed here one night with a friend and found hotel to be clean, convenient and very friendly. Staff couldnt be more helpful and polite. Beds very comfortable and we had a huge and extremely clean bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Didnt bother us, but the view from room was a deserted building so not particularly pretty. Would definitely...

Fabulous - Loved It!!!! Will definately stay again. This was a birthday treat to meet my family in Liverpool and I couldn't have asked for a better spot. We only stayed one night but next time we will go for the weekend. Great for shopping, eateries and night spots and the staff are lovely.

There are times as a solo traveller where you book a stay, because the pictures looked good and the price was fair, and then you arrive some weeks after and upon surveying your choice, it's as if someone has silently pierced your soul and the air is escaping rapidly as you come to see that your expectation of what "4...

We stayed here for my 50th birthday a couple of years ago and had an absolutely fabulous time. Our return stay was just as good, although the one change we made was not to stay for breakfast, simply because we wanted to go exploring, because the breakfast was excellent. We found we had been upgraded to a suite (very nice)...
