We were lucky enough to be able to book a table here for Christmas lunch and we had the best time! We ate at the first sitting at 12:30, arriving at about midday. We had a warm and friendly greeting and this atmosphere persisted throughout. The food was really good! Starters were nice, the main courses were excellent (well cooked and very tasty, puddings were delicious!. We had wine included (and soft drinks too) After the main courses, cake stands full of mince pies and macarons were placed in the tables followed by coffee being served. I thought that was odd to have this before the puddings, but it actually worked really well. The coffee was topped up and it made for a really nice end to the meal. Every part of this experience was excellent. The staff were amazing. We will definitely book here again- thank you so much xxx

Had an overnight stay here for our 25th anniversary. Planned to go further afield but covid put paid to that. Hotel looks a bit dated from the outside but is clean and well appointed. We had a suite which was excellent, providing everything we needed, apart from the bath robes ! very nice but who do they fit ? I am quite thin but they only just fitted, not that it made any difference to a lovely stay. Staff where friendly and helpful, breakfast was table service and good, hash browns especially.
