I implore you to avoid this hotel at all costs. The cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel rooms and facilities are utterly appalling. There were pubic hairs all over my bath, urine stains on the toilet seat, filthy walls and vomit stains on the corridor...More

The description of this place on line where gorgeous. Huge disappointment. Faded grandeur doesn't come close. The man on reception could not of been ruder, the rooms where smelly and dated back to the 60s or before. We had so looked forward to spending our...More

I agree with the above. I would not stay here and it is a pity it’s so bad because the location is great. To answer the the question they do offer early check in but there is no guarantee you will get it. In June we paid for early check in as we were arriving at 8.00 am, so thought it would be worth it. Our room wasn’t ready because the people from the night before were still in bed. When I asked could we not have another room she said that room was designated for us and she could change the room (no the hotel wasn’t full either). We eventually got our key after 2. If you do stay don’t have the breakfast in the hotel, it is not good, the cafe across the road is nicer at half the price.
