We came to Liverpool for an event at Anfield, we travelled on the train and it was literally a 2 minute walk from the train station to the Adelphi hotel. When you walk out of the hotel, you are 2 minutes from the centre of Liverpool. The rooms were clean and fine for us for a one night stay. The...

even though the Room was OK, it smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke. I was going to complain and change rooms but we were in a hurry to get changed and get out. ideal location for all amenities, trains, buses ect. Desk staff, well, they need to great their customers with a smile, not a "I hate my job" look...

Where do I start. Firstly. we spent 2 nights at this hotel thinking it was good value for money, however, having read some quite disturbing reviews on the hotel, and also some very good ones, we thought we'd find out for ourselves. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because we thought parking was onsite, and that gave...

I hate to give a bad report, but as Britannia Adelphi Hotel have not responded to my letter three weeks ago, I don't feel too guilty. Hard to know where to start, but I'll start with the hygiene....or total lack of it ! When "cleaning" the rooms, the cleaning staff just rinsed the cups and saucers in the wash basin...

stayed for 1 night and got 2 rooms for £76 which was good value, if you are after a modern hotel this isn't the place for you as with other reviews it's very dated, rooms were small with 2 single beds pushed together, TV didn't work in 1 room but there was plenty of hot water and room was warm,...

Just come home after enjoying two days stay with my sister, was very impressed with the very clean and spacious and warm twin room we stayed in. We enjoyed having the separate bathroom with both bath and shower, loads of hot water. Yes she is an old lady but still very grand. The only downside is there are quite a few...

The Adelphi, a once grand Titanic commanding Liverpool now run by Brittania Hotels. This was the place where my Grandmother went with her Mother to play bridge with Emerald Cunard. Luxury or was it? I liked it. Brittania however have an aggressive Sat night pricing policy £155 for a double room that is pictured as superior double online. £55 any...

Last stayed at this hotel four years ago and then it was just OK.This year have to say the quality of the food was much better.Regarding rooms it is the look of the draw if you get a decent one.Our room was no 658 top floor which was huge but the room next door was tiny.Downside of the top floor...

Arrived to the hotel and checked in. Got the key and went up to the room... well it was absolutely disgusting. It clearly hadn't been cleaned AT ALL since the previous guests had left. Dirty sheets, half a MacDonalds littered around the room, dirty towels strewed across the bedroom seats and on the bathroom floor. After speaking to reception ,...
