Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

5 minutes walk from Lime Street Station. Right in the city centre. Handy for all your needs, shopping, Sightseeing and dining out. Albert Dock is a must see, along with the Caven and the 2 Cathedrals.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed at the Resident for a few days with my wife. Check In Check in was quick and efficient. Staff were pleasant and courteous throughout our stay. The whole hotel was spotless and clean. Room A lovely card to welcome us on our arrival which was personalized. We went for a superior room which was large and bright. Nicely decorated and was spotlessly clean. Bathroom was also large. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was a must in the heat wave as the windows don’t open. Mini-Kitchen was a good idea as the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant which wasn’t a problem with many restaurants and food outlets in easy walking distance. As many reviewers have mentioned before there was no noise. Location Hotel is situated in a lively central location on Seel Street and a short walk to the centre of Liverpool and approx. 15min walk to all the major attractions etc. Hotel was very close to Tesco’s which was very convenient to pick up supplies etc. It has room key access at the front door to enter and lifts so security is very good. Return We had a very pleasant stay. We would certainly come back if visiting Liverpool again. Keep up the good work to all staff you are doing a great job thanks.

Have just returned from an amazing stay at the Resident and couldn’t have had a better time. Our room was lovely, clean and the bed was EXTREMELY comfy. All staff members were helpful and friendly, especially Cole. Only complaint would be that there is no restaurant on site so breakfast not available, however there are plenty of amazing places in the close vicinity, which is made better by the hotels partnerships where you receive discount at selected places!

This hotel was everything I needed - quiet, amenable, well appointed and cosy. Awesome rainfall shower and an extra surprise with the evening drinks! Would highly recommend as a base for exploring the area.

This was my second visit and I was not disappointed. The hotel is fantastic value for money, location excellent and staff first class ! The room has a little kitchenette hidden in a wardrobe complete with anything needed to make light snacks, tea and a Nespresso coffee machine too. We were invited to a complementary drinks reception each evening which was a lovely and unexpected touch. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel and highly recommend!!

I very much enjoyed my stay. I found the hotel perfectly located and easy enough to find. It was close to a lot of bars, clubs and restaurants but the good news is that I experienced none of the usual sound issues one might expect from a location. The room itself was larger than I expected as I had booked a Small Double. The bed itself was indeed a small double, but the room still had a decent sized bathroom, lots of storage, a kitchenette with fridge in it. I found the shower easy to use and water pressure was great.

We loved this hotel and the staff were very friendly, informative and helpful and the recommended car park was nice and close to the hotel. Well located for restaurants, bars and shopping but also close enough to walk to the Docs, great room and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. We will return.

This is a great hotel within easy walks of shopping, bars, restaurants and the docks. The room was very comfortable with a kitchenette that had everything we needed for a short stay. The hotel had some nice touches such as a welcome glass of wine and nibbles and also a welcome card. We will stay here again next time we are in Liverpool.
