We stayed here about 6 or 7 years ago and we enjoyed it so much we decided to stay again. There has been a big refurbishment of the lobby and former breakfast area since our last visit and it looks great. We were given a room on the top floor so room 1124 was easy to find when we were returning from going out. The room was lovely and quiet up there. We loved our stay and we would like to give a big shout out to the receptionist Louise. When checking in, she recognised that my wife has an Indonesian name and recommended a couple of Asian restaurants which we enjoyed. She was so friendly and helpful and is a credit to Novotel. We look forward to returning to Liverpool again one day and you can be sure we will book Novotel for a third stay. Thank you Louise for making us so welcome. …

Had a lovely time here, staff friendly and helpful. All our requests were honoured, which was good. Will be back again later in the year definitely! Hotel is so well located for everything, shopping and sightseeing.
Located in the centre of Liverpool by Liverpool 1, this hotel is clean, functional and comfortable. Our room was large and well decorated, though only the most basic amenities were supplied and there was no real element of luxury. We were unfortunately situated over large noisy fans and only had a view of the derelict building next door. Breakfast is self-service, plentiful and mostly good, though you do have to toast your own bread and get your own tea/coffee which is always less than ideal. Staff at the hotel were polite and helpful apart from the waiter who showed us to our table for breakfast and was extremely rude. He didn’t speak to us or even smile in greeting. In fact, he scowled at us and demanded only, ‘number’ (meaning our room number) and walked away, presumably leading us to our table. He didn’t tell us where to get tea or coffee, explain the breakfast layout or indeed say another single word to us. His name is Alberto and I would recommend that he needs some additional training to improve his service skills and basic personal interactions. I would recommend this hotel for it’s excellent location but be sure to request a room facing the street, away from the endless rattling fans and watch out for the surly waiter at breakfast.…
We stayed at the novotel while attending a concert at the M&S arena. Staff so helpful at the hotel. Superb location to lime St. Arena. Shops and the restaurant which we had booked. Lovely room. Spacious for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Had the best night sleep and sadly slept through our alarm for swimming. Beautiful breakfast. Great selection. Lovely bar although short of staff for such a busy Saturday afternoon. Can't wait to stay again
great hotel, great staff, especially Louise on reception (kudos to you for going the extra mile for us). Food was spot on and the bar breakfast was perfect. Location to everything in the city centre is also ideal.
Once more, our trip to Liverpool and our stay at Novotel Centre was fantastic! Daniel always willing to assist with our booking and the welcome desk / Reception, always smiley with a bit of a surprise this time, with this lovely billingual lady who could speak AND write a bit of Greek! It is always nice when someone appreciates your country ;) The only thing that made us nervous, was that the 99% of the customers were maskless (which according to the Goverment is acceptable...), but what really put us off was the fact that a few of them would cough or sneeze over the food, without realising they even do it.. :( This is the only negative fact we do have this time but everything else was exceptionally perfect! Thank you All very much! xx
Lovely hotel - stayed 3 times now. Staff -are always very helpful and great with the children. Pool great and timings well managed as the hotel was very busy with families. Lovely breakfast too. Thank you!
