We sent the email below directly to the hotel but they haven`t even bothered acknowledging it which say`s a lot! We were allocated the Sudeley room which you describe as a `Courtyard` room but is actually in the car park and unlike your claim that these rooms offer `dedicated parking` are actually available to all hotel guests meaning that you...

We had a fabulous stay at this modern and characterful hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the sheets were high quality. Bathroom facilities were faultless. Breakfast was delicious but staff were missing items at time.....for instance serving toast without butter. And serving pots of tea without the milk. Both times we had to ask for the missing items but...

We stayed in a delightful room in the eaves of the hotel - I'd be happy to recommend and stay there again. The hotel had very pleasant and accommodating staff. All-in-all, a great stay in a wonderful location near the Castle.

I take back all I thought I knew about the flatness of Lincoln when towards the end of a pleasant 19 minutes walk from the train station to The Castle Hotel I hit the climb up Steep Hill. Surely there can be no more accurate name for such a steep incline anywhere in the country! However if I had been...

Stayed at the castle last night. I booked it before checking Trip Advisor(school boy). However in hindsight I'm glad I never. As previous reviewers have said yes there is no active reception and the now operate a keyless entry system. I had received a SMS with the details of code. After a 2 minute phone call this was easily rectified....

Stayed here with my husband on a monday night for our wedding anniversary. It was lovely and quiet, our room had views of the cathedral. Nice bathroom with a powerful shower - some people in other reviews have complained about the shower being too hot but there were full instructions in the bathroom (not complicated!) on how to use the...

Just off the Bailgate area. Very good service. When we had a birthday gift afternoon tea, we parked at the hotel which is situated close to Lincoln cathedral. Lovely food ,and would definately go back.

Background: We've stayed in 5 star hotels and motels with damp beds and interesting wildlife. We never expect perfection and will either come away with a fond memory or a great story we can laugh about with our friends. You may get a better room and eat different food and have a completely different outlook, but this is what we...

Stayed here with my family for our daughter's graduation. Impressive looking hotel and very clean throughout at £170/night inc. dinner and breakfast but.... In our upgraded Gibson room the bed is right under velux window, so far too bright for a good nights sleep (see picture) and really needs a secondary blind. The walls are so thin we could hear...

Stayed for one night breaking our journey to Edinburgh, I had never visited Lincoln before. This is a small family hotel situated overlooking the Castle with it's own car parking which is essential for Lincoln. Our room was in the top of the hotel was clean and comfortable. My partner remarked that the shower was the best she had used...
