Wanted to stay somewhere different from the usual premier inn type places. Can't rate hotel maiyango highly enough. Really beautiful decor. Felt like I was on a tropical holiday! not in Leicester in Jan! Rooms had lovely products, fabulous walk in shower. Felt luxurious. And great value for money! Staff lovely

Large, well-decorated and designed bedroom and bathroom, in this centrally-located, quite trendy Leicester hotel. I asked for a quiet room and it was -- but a bit of a grim view over a van/delivery area. Clean and smart. Young, friendly staff. Good breakfast, though a bit confusing about what was included and what you would have to pay extra for....

Room nice in a boutique hotel. Good mini bar and nice and big. However we stayed in room 11 and it was right under the bar area on the top floor. There was constant noise of walking feet all night over our head. This was a shame as the hotel has a good reputation in Leicester- The noise was so...

This is one of my favourite restaurants, so why not have our annual Christmas do here. Wish we hadn't. I am shocked by the standard of the food, not at all what I would expect. The ham hock was disgusting, everyone that had it left it. The waiter asked if our meals were ok, I explained the ham hock wasn't...

My wife and I visited the restaurant this week for lunch. Had the three course menu and although the food tasted very good both main course, which were the fish and turkey were cold. We sent them back but the same food was returned some 5 mins later at the same temperature. Very disappointed as this was a recommended restaurant...

We came to a Christmas party, the food was below average for mass catering. The staff were well presented and pleasant but not very well trained. Bar ran out of alcohol which did it no favours either.

Honesty was, when I saw the door and buzzer I felt trepidation. All of that was allayed when I went upstairs. Different, quirky yes but very high quality, professional and on point! I'm not gonna list everything but it's got everything and we had a really comfortable stay. It's a 5 minute walk to all the high class restaurants and...

a lovely hotel with large rooms and quality furnishings, the bathroom was good as were the toiletries which smelled delicious. Breakfast was amazing except that we ordered a second cup of coffee and had to pay extra despite breakfast being included in our room rate. The only downside to the hotel in my opinion is the car parking. Yes you...

a lovely, very centrally located hotel that far out punches its weight in terms of price & rating - if anything, it may be too near to the action for some, with great bars & restaurants all around and a taxi rank underneath, it may not suit if you are a light sleeper. but really, a mild issue, overall the...
