As you state, we do offer pickup from Blackpool North train station and from the National Express coach station at Bonny Street - courtesy of our own mini bus for guests staying on package holidays with us. We are pleased to learn your Brother took advantage of this for his return journey home. It's great your Brother and his partner enjoyed the hotel so much, our entertainment is very popular with many returning guests - thanks for the lovely feedback. In reference to our Royal Lager / Bitter and Cider - this usually receives fabulous feedback due to the excellent value presented - at just £2.50 a pint for Royal Lager, you can see why - however do understand that some guests may prefer other brands, we do offer various bottled beers and ciders as an alternative option. As you state, our location is great being situated on Queens promenade heading towards Cleveleys however being within easy reach of Blackpool's town centre with the tram stop directly over the road from us. I have never had a holiday in blackpool before, though I on;y live 45 mins away by car. the service whas fantastic, the entertain ment whas exalent and the meals very good. we had a room with a sea view , and nothing whas to much trouble for the staff.

Dear N9616DRlouisec, Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear that your grandmother and her friend are not fully satisfied with their recent holiday to the Royal Boston. Being such a loyal returning guest of many years, your Grandmothers feedback is invaluable to us. I have spoken with hotel management relating to the various issues highlighted in your review. With regards to the room cleanliness issues, we do sincerely apologise for this as it certainly isn't the usual excellent standard the Royal Boston aims to provide. After speaking with our housekeeping team, it seems there were some slight oversights when servicing your room. I believe that management immediately had housekeeping tend to these matters and rectify as soon as made aware. I understand management also offered a free hot beverage of your choice as a kind gesture following this. In reference to the food, with the hotel being at near full capacity during the time in which your Grandmother stayed - after inspecting comment cards and speaking with guests, the majority enjoyed the menu on offer with no other previous complaints relating to the standard / quality of food on offer. We do have a restaurant supervisor on duty at each meal sitting, should there be any issues whatsoever we do kindly urge guests to please raise at the time so issues can be rectified there and then, replacement dishes / alternatives would be arranged immediately. The staff at the Royal Boston are always more than willing to help and assist. The entertainment at the hotel is still the same wonderful standard as previous years with two excellent live cabaret artists plus bingo and resident host. We do however thank you for your feedback. Guest comments are extremely important to us as they help us improve on the standard and quality of our service in the future. We are very saddened to hear your Grandmother and her friend cancelled there next holiday with us. With five hotels within the Royal Hotels group, there is plenty of choice for a superb Blackpool holiday so we do hope they will re consider Royal Hotels for a future break to Blackpool.
