Far out but good bus/tram service 2 minutes away from hotel. Only tried breakfast twice was average, portions could be bigger. Dinner is only one sitting. 05:30 which we found to early as we were spending the day away from hotel, wasn't enough time to get back, shower in time. Also was no choice unless your a vegetarian. we have just enjoyed a fantastic short break at this hotel with national holidays. the hotel was very good room spotlessly clean food was very good nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. entertainment was also very good/ I would not hesitate to stop at this hotel again. special regards to angela on reception and bar for...

Another great stay at the Silversands hotel with National Holidays from the 27th July. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms are very comfy and clean. Evening Meals are very nice and a good choice for breakfast.

Brilliant place to stay, staff lovely, food delicious, entertainment excellent would definitely go back, we had a room at the front very clean and comfortable bus and tram stop 2min walk at end of road, very handy

Went to Silversands 10th July,2015 with National Holidays, what a lovely weekend. Staff very friendly, food very good and entertainment excellent, Wish I was going back this weekend. But must admit it is not for the young, more a 50 plus hotel as it is at the south end past the Pleasure Beach and you need to use the buses...

Stayed here for a weekend The staff were friendly, and the food was good too, They Had a singer called Heather Dee on...She is brilliant, No negatives from me, the only thing noticable was that Blackpool is very quiet

the silver sands is agreat hotel very clean and great bar and rooms clean the staff and manager is brillant great entertainment on a night time bingo and good comedy acts and singers food very nice the rooms are spotless

Bad points We arrived here after 6pm on a Friday the gent that checked us in made us feel like we were putting him out of way or something he just kept hugging and shaking his head. Our trip to Blackpool itself was really good had lots to do it was the hotel that let it down, the staff weren't helpful and we felt that the staff were snappy and moody with us giving us one word answers, they weren't helpful at all, didn't tell us any intimation when we checked in about what time tea was...

We get lots of people that stay through out the year with National Holidays and many come back regularly. When people arrive on a coach they are asked to leave the luggage in the hallway until the rooms are ready, this is to keep the departure luggage separate from the arrival luggage and also to stop bags building up in...
