Visited The Moorings with my friend for a four day break while the lights were on. What a gem of a b & b , clean, friendly and good home cooked food. Full English breakfast best I've had . Three course evening meal - excellent , phil is an excellent cook ! We stayed in a family room double bed...

My wife and I recently had a short break in Blackpool and stayed at the Moorings hotel situated in the Gynn Square area. It is The third time in as many year's we have stayed there. The hotel is very good value, clean, friendly and breakfast keep's you going all day, and they do evening meal's too if you want....

Finally found a great family run hotel were nothing is to much trouble for the hosts Phil & Elaine. The hotel is very clean & decorated to a high standard, the meals are fantastic with a good choice especially breakfast. The waitresses are very good & efficient, nothing was to much trouble. There are two lounges downstairs, both have t.v's...

We have just stayed the weekend at the moorings for the illuminations.We were met by phil who very kindly moved his car off the drive to let my husband park our car it was a wonderful greeting and he was very friendly.The room was lovely and good quiet location yet 2 mins to walk to tram or bus.We were there...

We stayed at the Moorings Hotel for two nights at the end of September for the illuminations. Our party was made up of four adults and two children. We travelled up by car in two vehicles and due to heavy traffic did not arrive until 9 pm. As a result of firework display taking place all parking surrounding the hotel...

found this hotel on toprooms.com .we arrived and got a wonderful greeting from Phil,very friendly.We went to Blackpool for the weekend with friends to watch Ipswich v Blackpool play,to which Ipswich won.The hotel is close to the trams to take you to the tower and pleasure beach. Wonderful welcome by Phil. Would definitely recommend to others. We booked at the last minute after reading reviews on here, great value for money and great location. The hotel is only 5-10 mins away by tram to Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach and located a minute from the beach. We also managed to preview the illuminations and if guests are...

I found this hotel through the reviews on Trip Advisor, there was only one room left for the dates I needed so booked fast. Took partner to this hotel in June after I stayed here last year with my son . He enjoyed stay and food excellent. Phil makes you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We are returning again in September for the lights

Ive been to The Moorings Hotel twice now and have booked for my third visit during the lights. The hotel is in a lovely location just away from the main centre but not too far away if thats want you want, its the best of both worlds as the walk along the front towards Clevelys is enjoyable as fairly quiet...
