The seaside actually was fine and we could have enjoyed the sea view if the windows weren't so dirty! The hotel caters for coach parties but when two coaches turn up it seriously struggles to cope. Staff do their best but struggle with the numbers, which is not surprising as staff numbers stayed the same despite the influx of another...

On arrival I was given my room which was filthy, so immediately I complained and was upgraded to another room which was slightly better but still dirty, the whole place looks like it needs re decorating and what has been done hasn't been finished. The food was good but the staff were struggling as there is no system and you have...

This was our second stay at this hotel and once again we found the staff looked after us very well throughout our 3 night stay. They went out of their way to make sure was enjoyable. We had sea view rooms which were clean and comfortable beds to ensure a good nights sleep. Will be going back soon.

Six of us went to hacketts last week for three nights and all of us really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The food was excellent and the young restaurant staff was very good. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the entire hotel looked nice. Entertainment everyday and was very good. Overall excellent value for money hotel.

First time expierience at hacketts and have got to say the staff were a delight. The food was excellent especially the cod. The young girls in the restaurant work very hard especially the waitress with blonde and dark hair who served us. We will be returning and recomend this hotel to everyone!

Food terrible. Bar staff arrogant. Hotel dated. More like a retirement home. One male barman in particular needs to improve his people skills an learn to stop being rude and arrogant! Would not stay here again or recommend it!
