Came back on 13th May from another great 4 days here.room is cleaned every day and tea and coffee is topped up if needed, always ask for a Seaview when booking its fab yo watch the sunset.you are welcomed with a smile by Neil and Laura and all dinning staff work very hard with excellent manner and a smile also especially dan,Paula and Corey and Keith in the bar area is Micheal who is the most helpful person I've ever met he goes above and beyond. The deals they have at this hotel are for bed, breakfast and evening meal and its on the seafront central to everything it doesn't have a ramp for wheelchairs unfortunately only steps,if you are GF please bring your own bread and anything else you may need they are happy to store it for you and will solve any problem you have and the gravy is GF along with normal gravy, entertainment is everynight along with bingo they also have a pool table and a children activity room along with luggage room.we ha e stayed at quiet a few hotels in blackpool and B&Bs but this is the ultimate best and won't stay anywhere else now.cant wait to come back again in a few months..thankyou to all staff for another great stay

Refurb needed at this place our room no 41 was poor to say the least. Toilet seat hanging off wardrobe doors fell off and the whole place was furnished with he very cheapest and nastiest flat pack that looked as if a blind man had put together. Clean is the only way to describe this room and that’s all. Breakfast was ok staff were su0r and really tried. Bar prices especially for sandwiches was outrageous. Nothing more to say really only mind the step as you go in the front entrance they are covered with loose tiles.

Dear Guest, firstly you have to remember we are a 2 star hotel and you only have to read all our other reviews to realise that we surpass guests expectations. If there are any issues during a guests stay we would always endeavour to put them right but in this instance we think your comments are unfair and unjust. The room you stayed in does not contain flat packed furniture it was actually installed by a reputable local bedroom company and we have not has any other complaints about it ever. If your toilet seat was loose we would have been happy to change it or tighten it had you reported the issue to reception. If your wardrobe door was hanging off, again if you had reported it, maintenance would have adjusted it straight away The price of a sandwich at £2.50 is excellent value for money especially for a hotel, we do believe even Greggs charge more . A pint of lager at £3.70 and a 175ml glass of wine at £4 at is lower than an average hotel. A builder was replacing the tiles at the front entrance but unfortunately rain stopped work, however hazard tape was applied to the area until the he could resume work. The hotel has undergone a huge refurbishment programme over the last 10 years, every area has been modernised, so we are not really sure why you would consider it to be dated and again the standard of the hotel is reflected in our numerous excellent reviews. If you would like to discuss any of these issues with our manager she would be more than happy to have you contact her.

Yet another fantastic stay at the Craig-Y-Don, great staff, food, entertainment and rooms. Nothing is too much trouble for them any time of day or night this was the 4th time we had stayed and will defo be booking for next year. The room was cleaned daily with the tea/coffee etc topped up. Highly recommend a stay at this hotel as it's in a great position on the sea front close to the central pier.
