Lovely sized room, overlooking the sea, but decor very very tired. Food nice. Entertainment good, but if you have been here a few times the acts are repeated. OK for a night away, but would hesitate to book for more than 2.

Went to the viking hotel for the bank holiday weekend, sat and Sunday night half board. We stayed at The Viking for the weekend for my husbands birthday. The room we were allocated was at the back with a view of the bins and the spiky shards used to scare away the birds. It was clean but tired. The Reception staff didn't explain where anything was or that if you would like to play bingo on...

Booked this hotel as the hotel we usually stay in for a short break was full. How pleased I was as I will now be using this hotel instead. The hotel has it's own car park so the car was secure and you have to buzz reception to let you in when you first arrive. Once you have booked in...

We stayed here recently for a birthday treat as my parents for years have enjoyed visits. Although we were one of the youngest couples staying here we really enjoyed are visit. Had a fantastic weekend at Blackpool , staying at the Viking Hotel, arrived Fri 17/04/15 about 12.30pm, couldn't get our room keys until 14.00 which we knew about, but booked in, parked our car in hotel carpark with free car park tkt for our stay.then off for a bit of sight seeing until returning to pick up our room keys,...

Another brilliant weekend at the viking, fantastic food, good company & the brilliant Buddy Lee cannot fault it, back again in July, October & December highly recommend this hotel, book early if you want a sea view & front row seats for the cabaret.
