First time staying at the New Guilderoy Hotel and will be back. Stayed for two nights and had a great visit. My room was lovely and very clean. The owners Simon and Rhona were excellent, couldn't ask for better. Breakfast was excellent all cooked to order. Best b&b I've stayed bar none.
Thank you Simon and Rhona for a fantastic family weekend. Wonderful warm comfy rooms, which are immaculately clean, thank you Rhona. fantastic breakfast and thank you four amazing Sunday roast. It was so nice being back at the Guilderoy catching up on what’s good to see in Blackpool, what’s going on in the area and catching up on Simon’s jokes. Also, felt very safe with the measures that were in place for the corona virus. Looking forward to seeing you both in June.
Really lovely place, rooms clean and tidy and comfortable, tea and coffee available in room, breakfast first class, can help yourself to juice and cereals, Simon and Rhonda perfect hosts. We will most definitely return.
Had a great time. at the New Guildroy Hotel The staff are so friendly. great breakfast . Very pleasant rooms ...definitely worth the visit .. Simon and Rhona very very nice people.. Made our visit.... very comfortable
Stayed here for a few days away in Sept Simon and rhona were excellent hosts made you feel at home room was very clean and airey and spacious and omg the breakfast is the best breakfast in Blackpool situated in the quieter North shore but only 5 minute walk to the tram stop and ma Kelly's bar round the corner will definately be staying here again next time we come to Blackpool and ample parking spaces on the street 5 stars keep up the good work Simon and rhona see you next time
We were coming to watch a concert at The Winter Gardens Empress Ballroom and immediately booked to stay again. We've been coming to The New Guilderoy for 15 years and Simon & Rhona are consistently superb hosts. The food is excellent, fresh, varied and plentiful and such a friendly atmosphere. Simon and Rhona looked after us so well with excellent hospitality and always ready to help. Great location at the northern quieter end of Blackpool, less than 5 min walk to the prom with access to the tram to Fleetwood or into Blackpool. We'd recommend buying a day ticket. So much to see and do in and around Blackpool. The tram takes you to Fleetwood and down to south Blackpool with so many shops and great shows to attend. The renovated prom is a joy to walk or cycle and the lights are as impressive as ever. We'd have no hesitation returning (again) either as a couple, family or group.…
Second visit to this fantastic place. Fridge in room was a bonus, strong very warm shower, nice quiet room. In a quiet part of town, but close to trams and buses. Best breakfast in Blackpool! Freshly cooked and plentiful. Will definitely be back next year!
Stayed here recently as a family of 5 in the top floor family sweet. Arrived slightly early and Simon informed us that the room was already available for us. The room itself was lovely and brilliant for a large family like ourselves. The main room has a large four poster bed with a sofa and large tv, it also has a fridge which is a great touch! The adjoining room has a bunk bed with single on top and double on the bottom. It also has a separate bathroom with shower and small tv with PlayStation 2! The main bathroom was great with a huge bath. A powerful fan was provided which was perfect as it was a very hot weekend. This was easily the best B&B we’ve stayed in in Blackpool and also by far the largest room for a family our size! Simon and his wife are fantastic people and it’s no wander the hotel has such good reviews. Breakfast was amazing, you book it in the night before and choose what you are going to have. The breakfast itself was brilliant and super fresh, probably the best hash browns I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few!) the lady that brings the breakfast out was lovely and great with the kids! Although around a mile from the North Pier, we found this to be perfect as Blackpool itself was the busiest I’ve ever seen it and it was great to be able to get away from the chaos at the end of the day! Ample street parking nearby and the tram is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Plenty of takeaway options nearby! Look forward to staying here again when we are next up from the South West!…
Booked this b &b as what was offered for the price we paid was very good! Free wifi a good value tasty breakfast and clean and tidy and it did not disappoint! The location is also very good a short walk from north peir blackpool tower etc or you can alternatively catch the tram which is cheap and they run up and down frequently. Even though you are not far from everything the b&b is in a quiet side street so you get a peaceful nights sleep.
A Gem - Just returned from a great weekend for Lisa's birthday in Blackpool at the New Guilderoy Hotel. We did it all Pleasure beach etc. Hotel was excellent, the cleanest room you will ever stay in along with a very comfy bed (Room 14). The Best Nights sleep. It was hot but open windows and a fan provided was great. Breakfast was amazing, and additional fresh vegetarian options for Lisa were amazing and welcomed. Thank you. Situated on the North Beach area its quiet and well connected via Tram, Bus taxi etc. We had a 3 day pass on the tram for £11 each and spanked it! Advice from Simon on local restaurants in Bispham was really appreciated, away from the mad crowds in Blackpool Town and excellent value for money. Book now if you can!!
